Property Notes

Children's meals are not included in the rate. Children up to 15 years old stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Extra beds can be placed in suitable rooms, please contact the hotel to confirm if possible in the room you are selecting. Children's meals are not included in the rate and are charged for as meals are taken. A further investment program is currently in progress. Renovation work is done from 08:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday. Rooms are being added above the Garden and Spa wing. All works are due to be finished in Autumn 2022. Please note: From 1st April 2022 we are moving to cashless payments. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. Please note that the card used to make the reservation will be required upon check-in and must be verified by the pin. Please note that our Deluxe, Deluxe Partial View, Deluxe Seaview and Studio Seaview room types offer rollaway beds for children staying in them. These are only suitable for children aged up to 12 years. When traveling with pets, please note that an extra charge of £25 per pet, per night applies.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. "The best of Cornwall!"

Loved the spa facilities and had a lovely treatment! Outdoor pool was warm enough to swim in - even in November! The grounds were beautiful with stunning views. The staff were amazing! The room was spacious! And there were so many different areas to relax in at the hotel. And they made our dog so welcome!

It’s is every tailored to kids with the den, cinema, swimming times, story time, breakfast amenities

Limited food options when staying over two nights Lunch service very slow when only two or three tables No tour of the hotel when arriving so had to work out everything ourselves No response to emails sent pre arrival No information of what we can do or how to get to town and beach - or mentioning the steep hills when I’m heavily pregnant Unaware you can order food to the room Service to the room daily was not good

"Lovely rooms, food mediocre."

Room was excellent. Comfortable bed good bathroom with great shower and roll top bath.Exceptionally clean. Hotel lounge tasteful and relaxing.

Breakfast was mediocre compared with other hotels of this standard. Expected better selection of fruit on buffet. Bacon was tough to eat each morning. Service was very slow for ordering eggs despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. We ate out at restaurants on evening as choice on menu was limited and not to our liking.
