A true hidden gem in Shreveport. Bed was super comfortable. Decor is super cool and the treats and beverages throughout the house were welcome and awesome. Breakfast was delicious and served hot by the host. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

The hidden gem for a good's night rest. The house is eclectic in its decor = super cool. We enjoyed the bowls of candy and treats available throughout the house along with beverages. The host called the day of arrival to confirm breakfast plans and also texted additional information. The host also replied quickly to additional questions via text. Would definitely stay again.

I had the absolute best time in this gorgeous manor, John was so nice and upgraded me just because he had an availability. I was expecting the place to have character, but wasn't expecting a historic masterpiece, impeccable art, literature, and treats at wherever the eye can see. Studded with exquisitely curated art pieces I just fell in love, this was a weekend I didn't know I needed. I advise reaching out and texting him if any concerns, he is very accomodating and responds promptly to resovle anything, i needed help adjusting the air conditioner as it was too cold for me and he sorted it out with me quickly. I was impressed with the attention to detail, there was a cute little first aid and sewing kit in my room which I ened up needing to fix a dress quickly before a party. highly recommend if you are in the area.

This place is a rare gem in Shreveport. NOLA style and vibes meets Shreveport hospitality and friendliness. From the decor to the food to the service, there’s nothing left lacking here. A true bed and breakfast in every sense of the word, it feels like its own little community. I even made a new friend while grabbing the complimentary (and delicious) breakfast in the courtyard. If you are looking for a respite that feels both classic and modern at the same time, this is the spot.

We stayed one night in late January…. It is an eccentric southern Victorian house… full of character… It might be the definition of a Victorian Bed & Breakfast. It is if anything over decorated… with candy and goodies everywhere for the taking. The owner was present and welcoming… with his dogs. The morning we were there they were inside but everyone there was dog friendly… I suspect if dogs are an issue they were not be present. At the end of January the place Is decorated for Mardi Gras… it is a wonderful place to make residence for a visit. The owner had 3 properties, one next door, one across the street. We hung out… we went to a local brewpub for beer and a snack… a few blocks away. For us, (from Little Rock) Shreveport is a short drive south and a great way to start a road trip… we will be back (more than once) So, it is eclectic… it is personal… It is not a corporate hotel. We loved it.

We enjoyed our stay in the Fairfield Manor’s Bourbon Room. The decor was beautiful and cozy. The ample self serve coffee and tea as well as the candies provided were a much appreciated convenience. Given the unseasonably cold temperatures, the room was quite cold but bearable. John provided us with a nice breakfast and we enjoyed meeting Paris, Cocoa, and Gertrude. I would stay again if given the opportunity.

The breakfast food was VERY good, the staff were excellent and were full of a lot of good recommendations about the area and things to do. The only downside was that our mattress was sunken in and very soft in the middle making sleeping difficult.
