The shower - the door leaked water all over the floor and the water mixer was very difficult to navigate for the right temperature. The room needs more lights.

Nice and spaceous location. Great hotel en beautiful rooms

Bathroom was a bit outdated and shower leaked. Swimming pool is way too small for the size of the hotel. Paying such a price per night you expect to make use of all the facilities at ease which was not at all the case. With 15 sunbeds at the pool, at least another 20 were laying in the gras next to it hoping to get a spot. When asking personnel about this, nobody wanted to help or do anything about it.

We had the pleasure of an eight night stay over New Year at this lovely property situated very close to the vineyards of Somerset West. From the moment we arrived to departure we were welcomed by all the staff. Everybody was friendly and keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Room 5 was a good size, comfortable and bathroom with separate tub and walk in shower. Perhaps it could have gone with a little more lighting. The grounds are lovely and being right next to the Erinvale Golf Course is great place for golfers. Food was very good, excellent breakfasts although staff were a bit stretched from time to time. We were a little surprised that the diner menu in Oak Terrace and Magnolia Social Dining was essentially the same but Bloom, their new fine dining venue, is an excellent addition. We will certainly return, it is a true five star country house hotel

Perfect place, beautiful comom areas, very comfortable room, awesome gardens around, close to some vineyards, but, mostly, great people. Michelle, Stacey, Beneth, Thando and all the big team so thoughtful are simply amazing!

Great location. Relaxing grounds. Nice pool. Friendly staff

Understaffed. Poor staff running around stressed out. Dinner took nearly 3 hours as everything was super slow. We liked it but its not a £500 per night experience!

Phenomenal spa experiences Brittany was fabulous and so kind to fit me in for an extra massage during a very busy period. Possibly the best massage I’ve ever had! The whole family really enjoyed the spa from facials to massages was a great experience
