Anantara Hoi An Resort

This was our favourite hotel on your trip to Vietnam so far. Fantastic location on the edge of the old town. Great room overlooking the river. The staff are very friendly and eager to please, particularly the breakfast and spa staff. We really enjoyed our stay and particularly liked the happy hour at Art Space 6-7pm.

One of the smaller Anantara properties I have stayed at, but a wonderful experience overall. We were looking to relax after a hectic trip of North Vietnam in a relatively quiet place, and this is exactly what we got. The staff are very friendly and caring that only enhances the experience. The quality of the rooms, restaurants and facilities is great and up to Anantara standards. Highly recommended

Amazing clean and very relaxing

A wonderful resort set in beautiful grounds in a great location for sightseeing in Hoi An. Our room was large, very tastefully furnished and exceptionally clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the air con system was quiet and very effective. Breakfast was fantastic due to the quality and range of food and drink available to suit all tastes. We were made very welcome and all staff responded warmly and politely to any queries we had.

A beautiful hotel, perfect location and a little oasis in Hoi An. Service was excellent, the staff remembered our names and room for the 5 nights we stayed.

Ananrara is centrally located on the river a mere minute walk to the old town. I am an avid photographer so I like to see local people in action. By getting up at 5 o’clock in the morning and walking just two minutes from the hotel I was able to observe local life and commerce. I would return to the hotel by around 8:30 and have a wonderful breakfast. The room was clean, spacious, and centrally located on the river. I would return to Anatara in a heartbeat.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at the Anantara. Three things really stand out about this place: 1 - the friendly team members from the moment you arrive and every time you interact with them are genuinely warm and welcoming. This really added to our stay 2 - the location is seriously the best if you want to be close to Old Town Hoi An. It’s just a slow 4-5 minute walk away - close enough to be in it without having to be in it all the time. 3 - the ambience is very relaxed - so as soon as you get through the gates, the intensity of all that makes Hoi An fun melts into a nice serenity - definitely the best of both worlds. The rooms are starting to look a little bit care worn, but they are spotlessly clean and very spacious. This is really picking at something that won’t really affect your enjoyment though.

I am currently staying at this resort and am in the process of contacting American Express to suggest they remove this property from their fine resorts collection. There is a level of disorganization and rudeness that is beyond my understanding at this moment.
