Tub was especially filthy

Something alive was on the floor of the room

Mattress was terrible, colder night, went to turn heat on, thermostat said "weak battery" could not turn on

The owners kindly accommodated my late check-in making it super easy and safe for a solo female traveler. It was a quaint place to stay after a long drive.

I had a mild allergy to something in the room .

The bed felt like concrete, the room was dirty and there was zero customer service.

Persistent room odor (possibly old cigarette smoke), construction supplies outside my room and no-one else's, awful bedding/bed, weak shower, but cheapest available...so, there you go. Won't be back unless desperate.
