Baymont by Wyndham Rocky Mount

Everyone here is great the manager Rachel is so awesome, she will find a way to answer any and all questions you might have hopefully she can be rewarded for doing her work.

We love staying there. Close to my Son’s house

We always stay there when we go to Rocky Mount. They also allow pets. My little dog isn’t scared when we stay there.

I have stayed at this property on multiple occasions. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are clean, a hot breakfast is provided, room service is provided everyday unless I put a do not disturb sign on my door, the pool is seasonal and outdoor, but maintained everyday. I have no issues with staying here again. Oh, they also accommodated my dog during a power outage. The pet room was also clean and no issues there. I think the bad reviews people have put on here are not representative of how the hotel is. I try to make my own assumption without the influence of others opinion. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend to others.

Disappointed. The hotel staff when checking in looked like she just rolled out of bed. Baggy sweats, messy hair. The hotel is old, nothing has been upgraded in a long time. Breakfast is kind like a buffet style. They put cereal and milk out, they have bagels and bread you can toast. A waffle section to make your own waffles - but limited. Lemon or regular flavor waffles with butter and syrup. The had sausage and pre made eggs out as well. Juice and coffee. Coffee was gross. I don’t know how coffee cold be messed up. The pillows are little square pillows that are terrible. I had to get extra just to have more support. We stayed 3 nights. The first morning they did no housekeeping. The second morning when we left for the day especially asked the front desk to make sure we get our room service. The guy said no problem…. Well we came home that night and nothing was touched. We went down stairs to complain and to get more fresh towels and toilet paper. She handed us some and apologized for it not being down and she would come make/change the bedding, but there was no point now. We requested a late check out which is 12:30pm with the front desk. When our last morning came we had housekeeping knocking on our door and the front desk calling afterwards to find out why we haven’t left yet. I told her that we had a late check out and she told me oh she wasn’t left any notes. I explained to her the night before we requested it and that we say her write it down.

I booked a room for my kids and I. We decided sleeping in the car was better. First off the second floor smelled weird. Upon opening the room it was a heavy gross smell. Everything was dated and dirty. It was throw up on the carpet. There were dirty towels on the floor. The sheets had stains in them like alot .

The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly! Great family environment, hot breakfast. It was quiet and peaceful, everything in the room worked great and it was clean.

The beds had stains on the sheets and bed covers. The floor had stains on the carpet and a cigarette butt under the desk. There were people up late partying by the pool one of the nights of our stay. When our room was cleaned, my clothes were touched/moved by housekeeping. After cleaning, no new towels were left but the front desk person was very nice and brought them to the room.
