Staff are nice room are smaller then I expected for the price but it seems that all Mexico City got much more expensive

The staff was very helpful and the room was cozy, clean and full of personal details that made my stay more confortable. Air conditioning worked great

Nice quiet small propert in beautiful Condesa…

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience while in Mexico City for 7 days. The hotel is in a perfect location - the city is huge, so a lot of our adventures weren’t walkable but Hippodrome is in a great spot in Condesa that is easily navigable on foot and Uber pick up points. The rooms are clean and well appointed (bottles of water refilled everyday was a nice thing to come back to after hours out in the city in the very upper eighties). Clean! The highlight, though, is the staff. Everyone on the team is friendly, helpful, and they really take the time to understand your schedule to make sure you have everything you need. The travel suggestions were beyond helpful (tips on how to get to places, the best times to go, and additional ideas on what to see in the city). A great group of people who are truly hospitality professionals in every way.

We spent 3 nights here in early April and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and had good advice on how best to get around the city and back to the airport. The room itself was beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a fairly narrow building with a vintage elevator or stairs to get up to the rooms. If you have a larger body, you may find this a bit uncomfortable as well as in the bathrooms because the door to the bathroom and the door to the shower open into each other so the space gets tight. However, the water temperature and pressure were amazing. The AC worked almost too well! The neighborhood is beautiful with gorgeous parks, lots of restaurants and cafes, and easily accessible to the rest of the city.

Very helpful staff. Great location. Nearby good restaurants. Quiet, convenient. Will return when next in Mexico City!
