We liked that there was a good market within walking distance, and a small but fully functional kitchen. There was also a bar and restaurant on site. The room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable, and very quiet. The neighborhood is mostly a modern and residential neighborhood, but it is close to the beach and to a castle on the shoreline in downtown Olieros. We went walking here, and also went hiking on the shoreline near the Mera Lighthouse. We stopped for two nights but wound up staying for five.
I stayed here for one night during my week-long stay in Galicia. I've been to some apartamentos hotels in my travels and this was by far the best. The rooms were in excellent condition and the surrounding area seemed nice and safe. The breakfast was not special, but the kitchen in the rooms are reallly nice. You just have to ask the reception for the kitchen equipment. It is quite close to the city of A Coruna and there is a nice beach right next to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who has a car and who wants to make food themselves with the awesome seafood ingredients that Galicia has to offer!
We have stayed in quite a few different hotels in Coruna, but this was the best value. We picked this one partly becuase it had kitchen facilities. It had a separate kitchen with full size oven and fridge. The utensils, crockery etc. were supplied free of charge but you had to request them. The beach was near enough to walk to, although down a hill. It is not the most luxurious of hotels, but the room was spacious and clean and comfortable. It was very good value and we would stay there again..
Hotel personel were extremely polite and helpful. The hotel was very clean,comfortable and tastefully decorated. The Hotel was centrally located to major attractions, airport and businesses - most within a short walk. The hotels restaurant operated on european hours, open for breakfast/buffet at 8am and 9 pm for dinner.
