Calistoga Wine Way Inn

Quiet, comfortable room. The included breakfast and coffee are very good and just right down the street. We barely knew anyone else was there. I really can't think of anything negative to say. The owner was very nice when we booked and the contact person was very responsive

Street noise. Price for one night, but still comparable to others in town

It’s a nice place and a few rooms are acceptable. Meaning Comfortable. When I pay $440 for one night I expect a really nice room. This room was so small that the two of us couldn’t turn around. I know it’s the wine country but this was not acceptable..

Very nice place to stay, clean and a great location to town

The inn is nice and very clean and comfortable. I've stay at other places cited as Bed and Breakfast and in each there were people living there and every afternoon around 4:00 there would be a get together with them and guests to visit and have a glass of wine. There is no one living here. We didn't know what to do after ringing the bell but then noticed envelopes with names on them and keys marked as being for the front door and the other as the room key. We went in and found a housekeeper who helped guide us to our room. Breakfast was a voucher at a nearby restaurant, not served on the premises.

Pros: Very cute craftsman-style house with lovely patio area and nicely restored interior. Short walk to downtown Calistoga. Included breakfast vouchers for a coffee shop not too far from the B&B. Cons: The central AC was turned off by late afternoon on a hot day, leaving the upstairs bedrooms stuffy and warm by bedtime, without fans or AC. Our only option for relief was to open the bedroom windows but our room (the Napa room) overlooked the main street and we had to put up with surprisingly loud traffic noise until around midnight, which then started back up again around 4 am. Ended up having little rest that night! Perhaps the other rooms wouldn't have had this issue. We never saw the hosts during any portion of our stay, which seemed a little odd. Instead of sending us to a coffee shop for breakfast, it would have been nice to have a breakfast in their very nicely restored dining room.

This is the problem we had. It was a very warm day when we were in Calistoga and our room, the Napa room, was very stuffy in the evening. Because there was no AC in our room, we had to open our windows to let in cooler night air. Unfortunately, because of the location next to the road, we were awake with constant noisy traffic until late at night and then it started up again about 4 am. We never met our hosts so were unable to communicate this to them.

Amazing Inn in the heart of Calistoga, a perfect location and the perfect place for a couples weekend. We hosted a group of friends and rented the entire Inn. Nick was amazingly accommodating and saw to every detail. The rooms are so comfortable and our guests had an amazing time! Definitely planning to return.
