Novotel Nuernberg Messezentrum

Nice hotel, close to stadium, not far from downtown. Friendly, food was good

We’ve stayed in this hotel for five times over the years when we are in town. It is always very pleasant. The rooms are clean and functional. Staff is always very friendly. The bar serves good drinks in the food in the restaurant is decent for hotel food.

Hotel is out of town, but easy to walk to train station. No restaurants in walking distance, but we had a car, so found some good ones to drive to. Hotel restaurant didn't appeal as limited menu and breakfast was a bit chaotic - very busy and kept running out of eggs / bacon. Hotel is very popular with families, so we were woken by children running down corridor and in the evening whilst in the bar, there were noisy children playing in the reception area. Not the hotel's fault of course. Shame they charge for parking as seems totally unnecessary for an out of town location.

Friendly staff.

This is a pretty basic hotel and we used it as a stopover. As such it works well and the pool is nice and not too crowded. We stayed over an extra night to see Nurnberg and thus also had a few meals in the hotel. That was not a good experience. Especially the breakfast is almost like a farce, it is so disorganised you wont believe it until you see it, and although the staff is fighting with everything they have to make it work, they are clearly understaffed and as such it seems to be a management issue more than anything else. Buffet was half empty a lot of the time and took a LONG time to be restocked. Dinner was not great either.

Great hotel, good room, clean, friendly people and nice breakfast. Was not impressed with the dinner at the restaurant. Otherwise a really nice stay.

Was there for business purpose and I was totally shocked with the huge money I paid and the quality I received,Very old looking hotel with dirty corridors and doors and horrible bathroom where water drainage was in the middle of the bath tup and could not drain the water out and terrible hand washing sink, very small and cheap breakfast and most importantly terrible internet speed and quality, they just made the reception area to look good but the rest including their staff was terrible, staff were so cold and unfriendly like stone, will never go there again neither recommend, this hotel worths not more than 50Euros per night including breakfast and I felt like totally cheated, One of my worst hotel experience ever in my life!

Location is the most important asset. It is walking distance from Messe On the other hand, there is not much to do nesrby at night, but still only a short subway trip from downtown

Stopped off for one night travelling from london to Hungary. After an 8 hour drive from the Eurotunnel at Calais, we arrived at about 11.30pm. The check in guy was friendly and after 2 minutes we were in our room. 2 adults and 2 kids, the room was perfect for a one night stay. Big king bed and a sofa bed for the kids. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. We slept very well and enjoyed breakfast the following morning. A good selection of hot and cold food, nice and fresh. Quick check out after breakfast as we continued our journey stopping in Vienna. I am pleased that I have also book this hotel for 1 more night on our return to the UK after the Christmas holidays. overall experience was good except that the during checkin the receptionist was rough.
