Hotel Boffenigo The Golden Hour

We enjoyed our stay very much and we had excellent weather which complimented our holiday. The area around Lake Garda and particularly Garda town suited our tastes perfectly and The Boffenigo Hotel was the icing on the cake. We spent our week exploring the towns around the lake and we would add that a car is a must .

Lovely hotel in a quiet surrounding area, we enjoyed our stay, helpful staff who spoke English, great breakfast buffet. Great facilities would be happy to stay there again in the future.

Excellent service, fabulous choice of breakfast, couldn't have asked for more. No public transport and taxis few & far between, hire car or own car recommended. Comfortable bed, views amazing, no UK news channels available.

Book the Lakeside room you'll be glad you did. The pools and spa are amazing, ample parking and wonderful breakfast served poolside. The rooms have all the conveiences of home and more. Watch out for hidden fees.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful view over Garda. A bit remote though if you stay longer and wish to eat out in the evenings, perfect for us as we only stayed one night. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was almost perfect.

Hotel was so dirty upon checking in, we found shower w hair still in tub, tooth paste and hair all over sink and surrounding area. The staff said they had "forgtten" to clean. How does that happen? Hotel says "pet friendly" they are not, they are not welcoming at all. Almost seemed ANTI American. I would not recommend anyone stay there. Terrible experience!!!!!

This is the second time that we've stayed at the Boffenigo. The hotel has expanded but it is still a relatively small; now with more spa facilities and more of a "spa feel" to it. The views from the rooms are beautiful. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The breakfast is great. The value is exceptional since rates are under what you would normally pay for a 4-star, and this hotel definitely lives up to the 4 stars. You will need a car, and although slightly out of the way (but only 10 minutes to Garda) it is worth it for the beautiful views and quiet atmosphere. We were surprised not to see many Americans and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a romantic, relaxing stay at Lake Garda. We will return soon.

Very nice and quite hotel with a lovely view on lake Garda. Great for family with children with larg rooms and two swimming pools (in and out doors) and an in and out doors playing area as well. Nice and friendly staff. Centralized location and quite as in top with breathtaking view. The only disadvantage you would need a car as nothing arround you nor public transportations.

Great hotel but you need a car to get around. Fantastic views of lake garda and countryside. Could do with tea making facility in the room.

Very nice and elegant hotel in pleasant surroundings. Unfortunately the restaurant service during dinner was below freezing. No attention, long waiting, forgetting orders.
