Amazing property

Wifi not available in many areas

Breakfast was delicious and generous. The grounds were beautiful, truly. We loved the infinity pool and enjoyed our time relaxing there. It was nice that food and drinks could be ordered pool side.

Staff were nice but at least 3 staff members we met were asking for tips or information about work visas outside the country. It was uncomfortable. The dinner was delicious but a overpriced. We had no other options as there is nothing else nearby. We went on the camel cart to Samode Bagh but it just felt like a sales pitch for that location, so it was a bit strange to have to pay for it and then be 'marketed to.' We couldn't speak to the camel cart owner and he didn't know where we were going. The manager at Samode Bagh, however, was the most gracious person we met in both places and very welcoming and accommodating.

This place was one of the highlights of our India journey, and it exceeded all expectations. It felt truly special, and we felt blessed to have experienced it. This stunning old palace brims with captivating history. The tour of the impeccably preserved private quarters offered a fascinating glimpse into the lives of the royalty who once resided here, providing ample opportunities for capturing beautiful memories. The dinner surpassed all expectations, and the restaurant staff were incredibly friendly. Overall, an exceptional experience that left a lasting impression.

Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. However, we did notice a few areas that could use some attention, particularly around the infinity pool, restaurant, and the first courtyard. Some maintenance and a fresh coat of paint would enhance the outdoor areas. Additionally, we encountered challenges with the reservation staff, as they were difficult to reach, and the response time on booking.com was slow or nonexistent, leading to unnecessary misunderstandings and frustration.

Only that breakfast menu should have more food items. It’s limited and same everyday

Grossly overpriced property. No arrangements to keep guests entertained. I have visited many heritage properties and they have programmes to entertain guests but Samode Palace has none. Food is average in taste and presentation but highly overpriced.
