Echo Canyon Spa Resort (Adults Only)

My husband and I were looking for a spa weekend away from city life and this was the perfect spot. Got cabin number 14, which overlooks at dry Creek where we saw a fox. Very comfortable accommodations. We bought the package with dinners for two nights and breakfast. The food was very good, way more than we could eat. We had filet mignon one night and ribeye the next night. Twice baked potatoes were also a stand out. We also had massages and facials, which were very well done – very relaxing. The young staff is very well trained, and will work hard to cater to your needs. I was sitting on the porch reating a book and a staff came by to ask if they could bring me a drink. Very polite and attentive. Next time we plan to use it as a base to explore the trails at Chickasaw State Park, and maybe kayak around the lake. Highly recommend.

This is my 4th trip at echo canyon spa, and it is always such a pleasurable and relaxing time. My wife and I had the 90 minute spa treatment which was amazing as well as dinner which aims to please everytime at the Baron of Beef restaurant. Joe and Carol always make the experience perfect for us!

Everything was amazing! The food, the message, the room was top notch!

We had prearranged a stay at this “resort” and prepaid for a stay here for one night in early September only to find the gates closed and no way of entry. We had been requested to phone ahead to receive instructions and duly did so. We got through to a lady who made it clear that they were closed! We sat in front of the gates not knowing what to make of the situation as we are from Ireland and had pre booked and prepaid and did not know what to do or where to go from there. As we sat in front of the locked gates in the middle of nowhere a car appeared behind us. The lady who appeared from the car let us know that they were closed and had been trying to contact us to inform us. On contacting our travel company they had had no such communication from the resort. We had paid $309 for one night ( breakfast included) but the lady talking to us through our car window then arranged for us to stay at the nearby Artesian Hotel for $169 for 1 night - no breakfast included! They had been paid $309 up front by ourselves via our travel company but were quids in by booking us into the Artesian Hotel. Nice one ! We also had to pay for breakfast next morning in the Artesian Hotel. By the way the Artesian Hotel is fabulous and would not hesitate to recommend them

Best dinner we have ever eaten in our lives!! Only bad thing, we ate so much we could barely breathe!😜 Filet was fantastic, duck was divine, fish was fabulous!! The twice baked potato was to die for. Too full for desert but... ate it anyway, how can you not!! We can fast tomorrow!! Update…tomorrow came and we ate again😂..most delicious breakfast with fresh squeezed juice in our Mimosa’s. Nicest staff, so sweet & willing to do anything to accommodate!! Owners are amazing! This place rocks!! Room was incredible... didn’t go in the sauna tub in our room because we might have drowned because of all the delicious drinks and food!! 🤣 The king size bed was so comfy and plush!! Thank you Echo Canyon for making our anniversary really special!! 0/200 min characters

Landscape is beautiful. Peach orchard wonderful. Benchmarks beauty in outdoor settings. Stayed in Kathryn’s Castle and it was lovely. 2 ‘Scrooge’ beds that were over the top comfortable. Room w perfect appointments. Spa treatments just OK as the rooms were way too warm for my comfort. Peachy mimosa - amazing! Dinner was 3.5 stars as the halibut w cream sauce was terrible and the duck w plum sauce…meh…prime filet over the top delish! Green beans cooked perfectly and potato was its own rising star. Breakfast the next morning 4 stars. Servers all attentive and gracious.

Absolutely worth it. Beautiful, relaxing, and exceptional service. The staff are absolutely the sweetest professionals! You are never forgotten. The pool, peach trees, spa, and restaurant are the perfect blend of 5 star hotel and a bed and breakfast. I wish we could have stayed another day, two isn’t enough. We will definitely be going back as you can actually relax on the beautiful property! Thank you Echo Canyon.

Quiet and secluded

We came here to get away and explore the Chickasaw Recreation Area. The resort is just a few minutes away from Little Niagara. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The rooms are filled with antiques and very comfortable. Breakfast (included) was wonderful and we enjoyed watching the birds outside. We had one dinner there and it was possibly the best steak I've ever had! The sides and dessert were wonderful too. We were excited to enjoy those delicious leftovers (stored in our room refrigerator) after we returned home. We had spa treatments the day we left, which were perfect after two days of hiking around! Treat yourself and come here!
