Hotel Sigiriya

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Sigiriya! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with genuine hospitality and a refreshing welcome drink, which made us feel truly special. The highlight of this hotel is the breathtaking view of Sigiriya Rock right in front of the pool — it’s simply unforgettable. Relaxing by the pool while enjoying that iconic view was an incredible experience. The breakfast and dinner buffets were outstanding — very large selections with a wide variety of delicious dishes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There was something for everyone to enjoy. The front office staff were extremely friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. The restaurant staff were also very kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made our dining experience even more pleasant. Overall, Hotel Sigiriya exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, amazing views, and exceptional service! 🌿✨

The main star of the show is the pool and bar complex area - and amazing view. Great location for both Sigiriya and Pidurangala rock climbs. Good breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choice. The dinner buffet good choice for meat/fish eaters, but slightly less choice for vegetarians. All food was tasty and fresh. Rooms all clean, slightly dated but that’s part of the charm. The bathroom in the room is a decent size, but at certain times of day (mainly evening) there was a drain smell coming from the bathroom.

Very helpful and polity staff and service. I had a very nice stay here. The room was clean and there was a good restaurant close to the room.

I think it’s the flagship hotel in the whole of the cultural triangle in Sri Lanka. The rooms are so beautifully blended to the nature. The food is the BEST in Sri Lanka. Their breakfast and dinner buffets were by far the best and tastiest. Authentic Sri Lankan and also other cuisine. Such a beautiful hotel has with the swimming pools. have a good relaxation time by the pool with cocktails etc. overall fantastic stay. We did the sigiriya rock, the elephant Safari which were great,hotel was eco friendly. You can see everywhere trees and birds

Perfect Honeymoon Stay in Sigiriya – Highly Recommended We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Sigiriya and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially honeymooners. The front office staff were extremely professional and handled our check-in smoothly and efficiently. From the very beginning, we received a warm and heartfelt welcome that made us feel truly special. Since we were celebrating our honeymoon, the staff surprised us with a beautiful bed decoration and a lovely cake, which was a wonderful and thoughtful gesture. The dinner and breakfast buffets were huge, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. Everything was well prepared and very tasty. The hotel garden is beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was very clean, well arranged, and had a pleasant fresh smell, which made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations with its excellent service, cleanliness, food, and hospitality. A perfect place to stay in Sigiriya — we would definitely love to come back again!

A special highlight is the action corner where they prepare fresh hoppers – they were incredibly tasty! The restaurant staff are very helpful and friendly, and a special mention goes to the front office staff who are extremely welcoming, professional, and attentive. Overall, this hotel exceeded all expectations. An excellent place to stay in Sigiriya with outstanding service, food, and views.
