schönes hotel mit aussicht auf oslo . zugverbindung nach oslo, der bahnhof ist in ca.10 minuten zu fuss erreichbar. der hotelparkplatz ist ausreichend , aber leider nicht kostenlos .

Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld über Expedia war sehr gut, wir konnten etwas früher einchecken. Der Check-In erfolgte freundlich und wir erhielten alle Informationen, die wir benötigten. Wir konnten auch U-Bahn-Tickets direkt an der Rezeption kaufen, das war sehr bequem. Die Zimmer warne geräumig und sauber, allerdings extrem warm. Erst nach Zuziehen der gut verdunkelnden Vorhänge wurde es angenehmer. Der Rand der Badewanne war nicht ganz silikoniert, so dass Flüssigkeit in den Wannenrand floss. wenn man badete. Die Parkgebühr von ca. 11 Euro war okay. Toll waren die Möglichkeiten zum gemütlichen Sitzen an mehreren Stellen im Hotel, es gab freien Kaffee, Tee und Wasser. Schade, dass der Pool nicht beheizt war, sonst wären wir vielleicht hineingegangen. Das Frühstück im angenehm eingerichteten Frühstücksrestaurant umfasste alles, was es für ein Frühstück braucht, besonders das frische Brot war sehr lecker. Ein Knackpunkt ist die fehlende Barrierefreiheit auf dem Weg zum Zimmer. Es gibt eine Treppe mit ca. 10 Stufen, über die man das Gepäck hoch- bzw. runter tragen muss. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen.

"The perfect oasis after a day in the city with a view to die for!"

If you want an oasis to come back to after a busy day sightseeing in the city this is the hotel for you. With a truly spectacular view over Oslo ,the fjord and surrounding countryside,an outdoor pool,comfortable rooms and beautiful spacious communal spaces…we loved our stay here. There are excellent, reliable and cheap metro connections to Oslo centre and lovely walks in the local area. Breakfasts were excellent and although a limited evening menu ,what we ate was very good. Iced water,hot drinks and fresh fruit is freely available in communal areas. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Det var et bra opphold. Fint og rent rom. Vasken på badet var omtrent helt over do, så man måtte sitte noe vridd til siden. God frokost. Kaffe og te var tilgjengelig.
