Hotel Club Del Mar

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Club del Mar. We were impressed by the suite and its roominess, cleanliness, and amenities. The restaurant was quite good and had a wide variety of options. The bar areas are very nice and welcoming. The pool was lovely and large enough for a smaller resort. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The beach was clean, but be prepared for sand that looks like mud (although it is very soft). Also be prepared that the beach is not private, but the public was very good about keeping to themselves. The added security guard at the resort keeps things at bay. Jaco is a little lackluster, but this resort is located in a safe and convenient area. Would recommend.

We liked the size of the hotel and its amenities. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The beach access was great and the hotel spaces never felt crowded.

We only stayed one night in our way to Manuel Antonia the hotel is right on the beach at the far south end of Jaco. It’s a decent hotel but the beds are not that comfy and I wasn’t overly impressed with the town of Jaco the beach isn’t as nice as a lot of other beach towns and there’s not a lot of beach front dining or things to do so I’m glad it was only one night.

Every single employee we interacted with was incredibly nice!!!! They keep the property in great shape.

Great pool and reasonable drink prices and good food. Scarlet mccaws were fun to watch. Rooms close to the road are subjected to loud trucks downshifting....very loud.

Wonderful spot! Great for beginner surfer lessons. Staff was friendly half the time and seemed annoyed half the time. The accommodations were amazing! We stayed in the penthouse and it was worth every penny!
