The Imperial River House Resort

The resort was a lovely property with about 40 rooms. The rooms were large and with a lot of wood and nicely appointed. The pool is very large considering the small number of rooms. Views of the river were also relaxing. Breakfast was included with a fair amount of western and Asian choices. Staff were friendly and helpful although English was limited overall. While near town nothing really in walking distance and you need transportation for the night market and other sights. The tv has limited English language channels. Nice and relaxing property and I would stay there again.

Great Resort, staff very friendly and accomidating. Peaceful setting, by the river. Excellent breakfast, and restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Was upgraded on arrival so that always makes for a fine start! Room had a huge bathroom with jacuzzi and fab views of the Kok River via a relaxed balcony setting. Wonderful art on display in all 3 rooms within the suite. Free return bus to the Night bazaar also available.

From the time the hotel shuttle van met us at the airport until the time it dropped us off for our departure, we experienced an absolutely delightful stay. The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Mr. Apichart and Mr. Sagun were particularly helpful. The tours they organized for us were great. In one day, we visited the most popular sites and always before the big tour groups arrived. The breakfast buffet was tasty, varied, and plentiful. There was a very nice choice of both western and Thai dishes. Our room was clean, comfortable and large. The bathroom had both a shower stall and a bath tub. Great Stay!

This is four days trip to Chienrai by myself. What I need was calm environment, gim and pool. When I arrived there, I found rental bicycle at the gate. It's free and I could enjoy riding a bike in a town for a while. This hotel has everything I need. I'm satisfied staying in this hotel.

The hotel is located beside the Kok river in a very quite neighborhood. the grounds were well kept, the hotel itself was clean and very well cared for. The rooms were large, comfortable bedding, equipped with a refrigerator, coffeemaker, bathroom was excellent with lots of hot water and convenience items. A little out of the way but does have a shuttle bus to various venues. The complementary buffet breakfast had enough selection to please anyone. All around a great place to stay.

When I just arrived the hotel , i could feel that I am home because of the kindness of the staff . I will definitely recommend this hotel
