Svarga Bebek Villas

The hotel very traditional, villa was great size, clean and comfortable. Beautiful grounds with rice fields blended into it. The staff were fantastic and would go out of way to help you. Shuttle to Ubud centre very convenient. Good choice of food and you know that restaurant is good when even locals go there. The art gallery was a pleasant surprise and larger then expected. Would stay there on my next visit.

Overall stay was okay. Hotel front desks need more people to help out the guests. There was only one person helped us check in and while doing that she was also helping other guest with their shuttle service appointment which I think lack of professionalism since she hasn’t finish helping us with check in the hotel. She should ask the next guest to wait until she’s done helping us, instead we were put on hold and wait longer to be check in! Also, hotel only has 2 bath towels unlike other hotel normally has washcloth and hand towel

Our stay at Bebek Tepi Sawa was amazing. A fantastic base from which to visit the must see Bali destination of Ubud and also a great space to hang out and relax for those rest days you need to have more of. Transfers, day tours, massages, great breakfasts and room service - it was a great destination for a couple looking to experience Bali. The romantic dinner was lovely. The staff were amazing at all times and we thoroughly recommend!

Nice place to stay. Minor issue with air conditioning in the room making a lot of noise. Shuttle service provided by the hotel is fantastic and very helpful. Okish breakfast spread. Staff is very friendly, polite and willing to help you out

Shuttle bus to take to centre. But hard to get back as you have to know the time to get bus back.

It was not that good. The rice field is much smaller than how I imagined from the picture. Also, the room was filled with bugs. Not to mention, the bed was filled with bed bugs. I asked the manager to help me resolve the problem and all she did was to replace the bed sheet after I explained to her that changing bedsheets would not prevent the bed bugs. The only good thing was the restaurant in the hotel. They do serve some good fried whole fish and duck.

Upon arrival in our room after a 2 hr taxi ride our air conditioner unit was broken..so our room was too warm. Eventually we moved rooms but only because we pushed for it. Initially although smaller without a balcony (ground floor), with just a hand held shower attachment in our bath, the alternative room was nice and cold, we were v tired & so we decided to just stay rather than move hotels. We were not offered an upgrade(we wud have paid) & no one apologised or checked to see if we were ok until the end of our stay. Had they bothered to do so..we would have told them our room had mice, the sliding entrance doors were broken, the wardrobe doors also broken. We think the room we were moved to was sub standard & needs a refurbishment. We stayed here last year in a first floor room that was absolutely beautiful. You could say why didnt we flag up sooner, well we were shattered & just wanted some decent hassle free r & r. We also had spa treatments..massages were ok but have had better in Bali plus had a manicure & pedicure..Id say dont have a mani or pedi we felt both ladies who did this were not experienced didnt know how to file properly or have the proper equipment. Room aside & how we were looked after with our room problems. Generally staff are v friendly & v helpful & breakfasts are ok to good..also the setting is stunning...but overall after an amazing time the previous year..this years visit was disappointing & we will look somewhere else for our next Bali trip.

Minimalist Hotel, excellent ambience, well maintained, pleasing. Staff were very courteous and efficient. Has a restaurant but with limited choices. Breakfast included - although the options were practical and palatable. Kind of a strange bathroom layout - could be do with an update.
