The staff was great! Very polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. I wasn't to crazy about the neighborhood. It's very noisy and congested but no complaints about the hotel.

"How standards have changed in 32years"

I first stayed at this Hotel (Royal Palm) back in 1992 and it was a Great Hotel. How times have changed the accommodation is very run down the furniture has never been updated,and the photos that are on there website refer to there new wing which is not open. Reception staff are very young and inexperience,could not answer simple questions. The rest of the staff do a excellent job considering the state of the Hotel. Will not be coming back here.
