Casa Cuma Bed & Breakfast

We stayed in the Sunset House outside of the city which is perfect for a family of four to visit Santa Fe and ski in Santa Fe Ski Resort. With the exception of the sluggish WiFi speed, we enjoyed the beautifully decorated house.

Very nice, helpful, and gracious proprietors. Wonderful, fairly healthy breakfasts in a great setting.

From the description of Casa Cuma B & B on Hotels.com, I knew it would be a nice place to stay. I am happy to report that it exceeded all my expectations! Shaan and Colleen, the hosts, were most friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to see in the Santa Fe area. As a solo traveler, this was a bonus. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. Casa Cuma is located about .5 miles from the Historic Plaza so it was convenient to walk there and then return to my accommodations that were peaceful and quiet. I can hardly wait to return there and again enjoy their hospitality!

My husband and I checked in at the Casa Cuma B&B to get our key and received a wonderfully warm welcome from hosts, Shaan and his wife, Colleen. The Casita is located in a quiet neighborhood and is in walking distance to the downtown plaza, museums and restaurants. the Casita, itself, is very pleasant, immaculately clean with modern amenities. The upstairs balcony was a relaxing place to read in the afternoon. Though we had wanted to stay in one of the B&B rooms, we were very happy with our accommodations and look forward to a return visit.

Our three day stay at this B & B couldn't have been better. The hosts, Shaan and Colleen were very friendly and very helpful with all aspects of our visit. The room was very nice, though on our next trip (and there will be one!), we'll choose a slightly larger room than Cowgirl. A simply great choice for your visit to Santa Fe, NM!

Located close to town, Casa Cuma is an easy walk to town plaza. Excellent restaurants close by, excellent information given by the host of Casa Cuma. We totally relaxed, enjoyed the town and the free shuttle throughout Santa Fe. We also met interesting guests who had been to this B&B before. Each day the breakfast was delicious and innovative. Shan was fantastic.his knowledge of Santa Fe and surrounds was great. He provided us with passes which gave us free entry to the museums of Santa Fe and also had a good handle on the restaurant scene.

Plenty of room to relax. The home-cooked breakfast was amazing. Everyone we encountered was so friendly. We will definately come back here.

From the minute we arrived at Casa Cuma, my husband and I felt at home. Shaan and his wife, Colleen, are the ultimate hosts. The morning breakfast was a wonderful opportunity to share life experiences and to learn about all the interesting scenes and history that Santa Fe has to offer. In addition to the excellent company, the food was wonderful. Great start to the day! Our room was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we wanted. When we visited, the fruit trees were just coming into bloom and the perennials were beginning to peak through the soil. I am sure the grounds and patio are beautiful in the late spring through late fall. I don't think you could find a better location -- less than a five minute walk to the centre of Santa Fe, but just far enough to enjoy the quiet -- away from the hustle of town. We are so happy we made Casa Cuma a stop along our way home and hope that we will be able to return to enjoy Shaan and Colleen's hospitality and all the scenery and history that Santa Fe has to offer.
