"Comfortable and cozy."

The location was handy. The grounds are beautiful with many seating options. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious and private. The decor was charming and there were board games.

"Very Nice! Betsy is just extraordinary! So many little details that made the stay very enjoyable!"

Breakfast was delicious! More than enough to eat and expertly prepared. Betsy is a wonderful host and the grounds around the house are immaculate! Just a great place and only about 3 blocks from the historic downtown. We will be back for sure!

Everything was very nice. The room I chose was the lowest price one available and I did not mind the smaller size of the bedroom, I did not realize ahead of time that the private bath that went with the room was across the hall and not attached...The bath itself was lovely but next time I will chose a room that has the bath attached.

The host were very nice and the breakfast was delicious! The room we stayed in was so nice and we loved the jetted tub.

The only down side was there was not a beautiful garden in the backyard they were putting in a deck so there was no relaxing garden to enjoy.

"I really wished I rebooked with the Blue Herron"

It was clean and made me feel like I was at grandma's house

Only one room so it felt like they were renting a room for the night and that's it. Everything is exactly like grand mothers house so really too much stuff and way outdated

Owners - Betsy and Glen - were both very nice, friendly and helpful during our 2 night stay. Room was great and the breakfasts were fantastic!
