Rodeway Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

It was 10 minutes away from cruise ship port.

If you can spend more money on a room elsewhere before or after a cruise I would. The stay wasn’t a positive one.

The ease of booking and the check in was easy. The room was comfortable. We left our vehicle at the hotel for a week and was shuttled to the cruise terminal which was perfect.

There was nothing I didn't like, all was good.

A group of 10 of us were flying from St. Louis to Fort Lauderdale for a cruise. Our connecting flight from Nashville was cancelled. As soon as we found this out, we called the hotel to cancel our 5 rooms. Of course, it wasn't within the 72-hour time they wanted for a cancellation, so they told us we were still going to be charged for our rooms. We told them we would be there as soon as possible to utilize the room for showers, brushing our teeth and changing clothes. The lady we talked to on the phone said that was fine. We had to rent 2 vans and drive overnight for 15 hours to make it to the cruise on time. We showed up to the hotel at 9 am and figured we still had 2 hours before check out to get cleaned up. They put us off to the side and told us to wait for a manager. 25 minutes later, we were still waiting!!! I went up to the counter and told them we wanted our keys, we were paying for the room, and we wanted to get cleaned up. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE US OUR KEYS FOR THE ROOMS WE PAID FOR!!! We finally left to get to the boat and then found out, not only did they charge us for our rooms they wouldn't let us into, BUT THEY ALSO CHARGED US A $400 FINE FOR NOT SHOWING UP ON TIME!!!! I would not recommend this place! They are rude, not helpful and the pictures look a lot nicer than the dump actually is!

Shuttle went well. Room was good.

The outside bar/restaurant seemed to be short staffed. Service slow.

Shuttle service not so great. From airport had to get a taxi that cost $30 because was gonna be hour & half shuttle wait. Shuttle to cruise was for 10:00, left at 9:45. Shuttle from cruise back to hotel was over hour wait.

Our flights were canceled and had to wait for 3 days for a flight. We were quite depressed and at 6 am we arrived at place. The staff had many people waiting. They gave us blankets and tickets to free food. They were organized putting us in rooms before noon. We had to pay extra for early checkin but it was worth it. We applaud the staff.

All was good. They even had a free shuttle to airport.
