We had an incredible experience with Miramar Sheraton from even before our arrival all the way through to check-out. A special thanks to Abd El Rahman from the reservations team, who kindly assisted me over the phone despite my booking being made through Booking.com. Also, Latifa at the reception desk, who gave us such a warm and genuine welcome. All the staff throughout our stay were extremely professional and attentive. The hotel itself is very well maintained, spacious, and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back.

"Heel mooi resort, rustig resort"

Het is een super mooie resort. Niet zo’n standaard resort gebouw, maar allemaal leuke gebouwen verbonden tunneltjes, paden en bruggetjes omringt door veel planten. Het wordt ook goed onderhouden! En bijna alle kamers hebben op een eigen manier een mooi uitzicht.

Ondanks dat het personeel hun best deed en heel aardig was, vonden wij de service wat bijzonder en soms een beetje onhandig / ongemakkelijk. Zo hebben we 3x contact gehad over het oppikken van onze bagage bij vertrek en stonden ze alsnog 20 min voor de afgesproken tijd op de stoep. Daarna kwamen ze te laat en zijn we gaan lopen. Zo gingen meer dingen net onhandig. Daarnaast was het eten prima, maar echt niets bijzonders. Ook de drank was niet top. Cocktails aangelengd met suikers en siropen ipv verse ingrediënten. Het is echt ingestoken op all-in (meer focus op kwantiteit) en dat merkte ik persoonlijk iets te vaak. En wij hadden heb persoonlijk fijner gevonden als er op plekken ook overdag wat gezelligere muziek gedraaid zou worden. Nu was het op plekken zo stil dat je je bijna bezwaard voelde om te praten met elkaar.

Personeel en de opzet van hotel als park. Met overal plaatsen waar je kunt zitten en zonnebaden

Het feit dat er overal gerookt mag worden. Als niet-roker is dat echt vervelend. Zelfs binnen in de bar kan er gerookt worden. En geen animatie. Het is een beetje een dooie boel zo zonder iets.

Het was een prachtig resort, erg schoon en vriendelijk personeel

Er is in de omgeving in Egypte niet erg veel te doen. Het is vooral: zon, zee en strand vakantie.
