Devonfield Inn

We stayed at the Devonfield Inn in mid-October during peak foliage season. The hotel is a wonderful historic home built in 1800 with much of its historic character preserved. Our hosts were so welcoming and made us feel at home. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. In the morning, we got a special surprise to see a bear on the patio drinking from the fountain and robbing the bird feeder. Overall we highly recommend the Devonfield. We will definitely go back.

Friendly and helpful innkeepers, great location and views

My mother and I visit the Berkshires almost every summer for a mother-daughter overnight. This was our first time staying at Devonfield Inn and we will now plan to stay here from now on. The service was exceptional! We were greeted so warmly the minute we arrived, were given a tour of the Inn, and returned in the evening to enjoy a fabulous happy hour consisting of wine, delicious Hors D'ouervres, and "live" music performed by a gifted pianist as well as singing done by the owners (Jim and Doug) of the Inn.The following morning, we were provided with an incredible homemade breakfast while Jim and Doug visited with the guests. After we ate, we walked the small trail on the extremely large and beautiful property to look at the abundance of flowers and the beautiful scenery. We had an incredible stay and were absolutely delighted by the warm and friendly personalities of Jim and Doug, not to mention the amazing home cooked food they provided. I would absolutely recommend the Devonfield Inn.

Having just checked out yesterday and while the experience is fresh in my mind, Devonfield is beyond excellent. Every aspect is a class act. Run toward don't just walk toward Devonfield. We can't wait for a return visit. The level of comfort, cleanliness, consistency of decor amazes. Oh, and the full breakfast is to die for. Doug and Jim, glad to have met you.

We stayed at Devonfield as our usual inn, when we stop in the Berkshires (Lee, MA) was booked. While that inn is very nice, The Devonfield Inn will definitely be our stop. Doug and Jim are great. Our room, bedding and toiletries were A+ and we had a delicious breakfast. Next time we will take advantage of the pool (weather permitting) and the walking trails on the property.

Very enjoyable! Beautiful grounds. Choice of breakfast was adequate. Innkeepers were very hospitable.

Great service, the property is beautiful, nice pool and exactly what a B&B should be. We really appreciated that when we arrived late the InnKeeper was available to show us around and even offered a glass of wine by the fire. Definitely will go back!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Devonfield B & B last week. Our Innkeepers, Doug and Jim, were warm, friendly, and informative. The comfort and decor of the inn was exceptional, and our morning meal was excellent. We cannot wait to return there.
