Comfort Suites South Haven near I-96

The room was decently clean.

The staff looked very unprofessional and the lobby was filthy. The room was clean enough we were comfortable but even there the couches were stained and we tried to just not look too closely. Anytime we stepped out of our room we were met with dirt. The doors into the hotel were smudged and filthy. The window at the end of our hall was cracked and dirty. So many things that could have been better with a simple clean.

Breakfast was good.

My room did not have a bathroom If I had known that before checking in. I would have stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street Staff needs review of current standards. Your costumer provides revenue.

The location was great. Also, the room gave us the space we needed.

The staff person at the front desk was not friendly. She was watching TV and, although she did acknowledge us when we approached the desk, she didn't seem happy about it. The room was not as clean as I prefer. There was dried ice cream or some kind of food on the night stand. Also, the bathroom had a sour smell and I wondered how sanitized it really was. It made me a bit uncomfortable but I wiped a couple things off and made the best of it. There was one man working there who was very nice and seemed to be working hard. We appreciated him. I will NOT stay there again.

Lobby was hot, breakfast wasn’t great, staff wasn’t the friendliest.

I liked that our room was very spacious and clean.
