Creekside Inn

The location was great, staff friendly and prompt to meet our needs

Room was small no dining table parking lot unpaved.

The location was fantastic. It was in walking distance from 3 fantastic restaurants. It was also in walking distance from a rental place for kayaking and scuba diving or snorkeling.

The pictures online made the room look a lot bigger. That was kind of funny.

Once we hosed off our patio, got a shower curtain, and wiped the cleaning product film off the floor, the room and hotel were perfectly adequate as a place to start our exploration of the Keys. The wifi was fairly reliable, only struggling a little during Teams calls with shared content. Local recommendations: Habanos across the highway at the dock Mom and Daughter Juice Bar near Winn Dixie

Our arrival was rough. We arrived on Sunday evening about 20 minutes after the time we confirmed earlier that day on our six hour drive, just after dark, to a closed office and a sign telling us to reference an email that was not sent to us to get instructions for getting the room key. We called a number on the sign and a receptionist at another property also told us to reference the non-existent email. After finally getting instructions to get the room key, we drove to the end of the hotel complex where our room was and pulled up to the parking area where the creekside walkway was blocked off by plywood spray painted with "Danger! No pase!" to block a church of the walkway that is missing. When we got to our first floor patio entrance, the funky creek smell was more intense than anywhere else and mixed with urine. Our room floor was slimy with Fabuloso and there was no shower curtain on the rod. After looking at the cancellation policy and checking out available places nearby, we decided to sleep on it and make a decision in the morning. Throughout our stay we noticed black particulate matter showing up on the sheets that appears to come from the air conditioning unit.

Strong smell in room that attaches to your clothes, bags etc. No tv remote, only a couple working channels after turning on manually. Remote for AC doesn’t work so AC stuck on one temperature and setting. Checked out after one night, requested waiver of cancellation fee but property declined. Paid $200/night for place that shouldn’t get more than $60/night.

The bathroom was adequate. The shower was hot. The bed was OK. In my travels not worth the dollars but USA has expensive accommodation. It was clean and comfortable.

Hard to get to as it's down a service road and there were road works.

No desayuno; no café. No sgua

Great location, reasonable rate, clearn room, and great AC. I enjoyed the surrounding areas and enjoyed my time in the Keys! I would definitely come back and would consider staying at the Creekside Inn once again.

The checkin process was a bit confusing. The keys were in lockboxes, and there was no staff when I arrived. It took me about 10 minutes to find the appropriate lock box after a very long drive. Other than that, no issues.

Relaxed atmosphere on the creek with occasional boats passing. Bird flocks moving at dusk. Helpful staff

Although on frontage road beside main Keys highway, traffic noise not bad.
