Domaine de Roiffé

Bon vous rénovez une caserne et en faites un hôtel pourquoi pas mais essayez de donner un peu de gaieté à l'ensemble. On a vraiment l'impression d'être enfermé dans ses quartiers. Le petit déjeuner est très médiocre. L'ambiance épouvantable.

Séjour en amoureux, nous avons profité d'une chambre stylée, calme, et une configuration des lieux atypique. Seul bémol, la literie que nous n'avons pas trouvée à notre goût (un peu dure à l’accueil et durant la nuit). Mais tout cela dépend de chacun. C'est le restaurant attenant qui nous a enchanté, avec un service au top.

A unique place to stay in the buildings of a historic estate. Be sure to book at the restaurant to ensure a table there is no other restaurant nearby. We really enjoyed the food and service.

Belles prestations, très beau domaine, chambre très agréable , très bon restaurant -carte resto où brasserie-personnel très avenant. Un rafraîchissement global de l espace piscine serait vraiment le bienvenu (dalles non fixées aux rebords de la piscine, clôture enfoncée, bouche d aspiration dangereuse dans la piscine je m y suis collée par accident ...- jeunes enfants ?😡- couverture piscine ...) tres beau domaine . This hotel is a series of contradictions. The rooms are clean and functional with some really nice features coupled with some really cheap bits like awful plastic loo roll holders and toilet seats but good taps?? The rooms are housed in a series of individual buildings with car parking outside each one. The entrance halls and stairs are reminiscent of halls residence. The staff however, were all lovely, attentive and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful; it is a buffet with enough choice. The outstanding feature is undoubtedly the food in the restaurant, the food is superb. We enjoyed an outstanding evening meal with each course a triumph. However the dining area is a series cell like small rooms or an underwhelming ‘conservatory’.

Wow - what a place!!! The website does not do it justice. The bedroom was spotless, the beds and pillows comfortable, and the shower pressure good. The sink didn’t drain brilliantly, and the bathroom could be modernised, BUT perfectly usable. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff friendly. Local restaurants - all a fifteen minute drive away. This residence is perfectly positioned to explore the Loire valley. Will return and recommend.

Tout était très fonctionnel, propre et en excellant état mais manquant d'âme . Le repas du soir, bien que de qualité souffrait du même défaut de caractère.
