Oaks Brisbane on Felix Suites

The room had good space, well laid out, and good facilities

Location was good. Apartment facilities and space better than hotel for longer stays.

Aged, broken and deteriorated furniture, kitchen items and old carpets. Not a 4 star. 3 star a more appropriate assessment.

Great location, clean comfortable rooms.

Pool was very rundown and not clean.

It was tired Furniture was worn badly. The whole apartment was tired. We stayed at another Oaks close to these previously & it was good.

I liked the location - walking distance to everything. The lifts were fast and the foyer and hallway areas were well maintained. The shower had great pressure. Lovely staff member on check in.

The room had issues - ceiling fan in bedroom didn't work, fridge wasn't cold, balcony area was not very nice at all, no baking tray for oven, decor was very dated. The room was made up as twin (from king bed) and the sheets and doona on the beds were for a king - the doona on one bed was a king doona folded over to make a single and the other bed had a blanket folded over. This was bulky and a bit difficult to manage. There was only one staff member on reception on the busiest day and time for check out of the week. The lone staff member answered a phone when I walked up to the counter holding keys which was frustrating - I would assume the customer in front of you has priority over the phone. I was also charged for parking I didn't use but was refunded promptly after calling and waiting on hold for 12 mins.

Gorgeous view of river and the Story Bridge. Nice and roomy with big balcony. Bed was comfy.

Bathroom was bit non-user friendly, but all ok! Noisy fridge all night. Had no idea about what coffee pod I was using :O no info, but three different colours... The squeeziest carpark ever.

Extremely clean, modern and convenient. Staff were amazing and the view of the Story Bridge was great (Ms Akane was extremely helpful and friendly). Easy walking to Queen Street Mall and on site parking as well.

Parking garage turns were tight in a large SUV... but this is Brisbane so understandable.

View was superb, just the right size for a couple and everything you need for your stay.

Bathroom shower area was a little unsafe as you had the step into the bath to use the shower and had to be careful you didn’t slip while stepping into bath /shower area
