Porto Palace Hotel

The stay was generally very good. Sat. TV was missing channels, no CNN/BBC News, only EuroNews. Wireless in room was outstanding, high speed and reliable. Slight amount of noise from the fans and traffic in the early morning. Excellent breakfast service. The neighbourhood is safe, however it is at the commercial point, excellent for business, not so convenient for the downtown, however shuttles and taxi are plentiful. Overall, 4 1/2 out of 5 stars and we will stay again.

All in all, we wish we had chosen a hotel closer to the life of the city. There were no restaurants nearby, and the hotel's dinner service was slow and the menu very limited. The advertising was a bit misleading--no indoor pool, no gym, no shuttle service to the airport on Sundays.

Arrival was after 6PM, and staff was helpful and courteous at all times. Very nice cafe and lounge with late night service if you prefer. The room was nicely decorated,spotless and comfortable as well as having free hi speed wireless which was a pleasant surprise, and very fast. Water was hot and unending, as well as a spotless bath although a shower door or glass would help keep water off the floors. Convenient adjacent parking and shuttle. The neighborhood is industrial/port, so not a tourist spot, although the main square, restaurants and shopping is a very short taxi ride, with the airport about 20 minutes away.

Very modern hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is not in walking distance to the center so we had to take a taxi every day. Good breakfast and a nice bar. The beds were very hard unfortunately, but the room was comfortable.

Not a top rate 5 star hotel. We paid for a superior triple room but it turned out to be a standard.

Great hotel, definitely the best at Thessaloniki, generosity, amazing modern structure with expensive materials, best bed I have ever seen anywhere. Amazing breakfast. One of the best hotels in Greece. I was extremely impressed with the service and people working there.The staff were amazing. I really do not say this lightly. Any staff member I met went out of his or her way to be super friendly, helpful and professional. We enjoyed it so much we cut short our seaside stay to come back for a night. One of the best places I have stayed. Loved it.

Very nice bedroom, but not particularly large and no balcony. Not the prettiest area of the city. No car parking problem. With the exception of the orange juice (for some inexplicable reason), the standard of the breakfast buffet was absolutely excellent, with even a section for diabetics. Something really worth looking forward to.

I went for business, I reached to hotel at 11:30pm. so couldn't see much surrounding or find out more. but in morning when I woke up, I could see the natural beauty around. good view from hotel. excellent Americal Buffee Breakfast, with pleanty of things to choose from. it's a excellent hotel at so good prices, I had paid nearly triple at Radisson Blu in Norway for same level of comfort, style & service. i will recomment this hotel to everyone.

Hotel is very nice. Spotlessly clean, modern, very accommodating staff. Facilities are impressive, including a huge event room. Service very responsive, food good. Be aware, this is in an industrial area outside the city center -- it's a short taxi ride to the attractions, though.

SUPERB HOTEL! GREAT HOTEL, VERY CLEAN ROOM, PERFECT BREAKFAST, PERFECT ACCOMODATION, VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY STAFF! DEFINETELY WILL STAY AGAIN! P.S. The only disadvantage of this hotel is the location that is little bit far from the center by walk. But by car is 5 minutes, and taxi will charge you 5-6 Euro to go to Aristotel square!
