Americas Best Value Inn Scarborough Portland

Room: Clean but smell old carpet. Carpet needs replace. Staff: Very good. Breakfast: Not much just few old apples, bananas, and 3 choices of cereal. Need fresh fruit and few healthy choice of cereal. Business-friendly: OK.

Good value, large, very clean room. This room was comfortable with a larger than normal bathroom found in most hotel rooms.

Enjoyed our stay at hotel. All was good except they probably should not advertise breakfast.

The hotel is two stories so you must carry your luggage up and down. It is a bare bones hotel in that it has no amenities, is off the beaten track(in a residential area), is run by 1 gentleman (who is very pleasant but not on site) so the lobby is closed and locked by 10:30pm. The ice machine is in lobby, The bathroom is huge but outdated. The room is a decent size with old furnishings. In Portland, hotels were too expensive so we stayed here outside the metro area. I wouldn't stay here again but for the price it was decent.

No real breakfast, not even a very good grab and go. The road noise was terrible. Staff was helpful and very kind. Found some mold in bathroom tub/shower area.

Heard people upstairs very clearly. Alarm clocking walking and whatever else made large noise

Easy access

Basically clean motel, the blinds in the bathroom needed to be cleaned. however I would have dump them in the garbage. They were filthy. The room it’s was ok. Wish I would it taken a pic of them.

Basic clean quiet room. No issues.
