Mowbray By The Sea

The location to the beach and town was great. Warm pool was fantastic.

We were there 7 days and not one day was it serviced. We washed our own towels. Purchased more toilet paper. When I went to the front desk there was nobody there. And no way to leave a message. The areas outside of rooms and the stairwell was dirty. We never saw anyone cleaning. The bathroom extractor fan in the second bedroom ensuite, would only work if the light in the master bathroom was on. Plus the unit for the fan was in the ceiling of the second bedroom, and was super noisy. Was annoying having to ask our friends to turn their bathroom light on so that we could have our extractor working. We spoke to some ladies in the pool and they were saying their apartment was outdated and original. Ours was renovated but the cleanliness let it down and the bathroom was already getting stains due to not being cleaned regularly

Rooms were spacious, great balcony. The pool was lovely (and warm) Very close to the beach and town.

Mostly good. A few areas could have done with a clean up.

Location brilliant. Just a short stroll to get a morning coffee from beach side cafe and surfclub cafe and bar does a great lunch or dinner. Less than 10 minutes walk to marina, the shopping village and pool and balcony were great!

Mowbray by the Sea is in Such a great position. It is easy to get to everything. The pool is great with lots of lounge chairs. It is perfect for kids.

This is a lovely apartment which is spacious and only steps from the beach, a cool park with water features, and cafes and only a short walk to town. The unit has two good sized bedrooms both with en suite, a laundry, a good-sized kitchen and living area and a good deck with table and seating for 6.

The shower in the second bedroom has very low water pressure. I suspect this is fixable as it was better at all the other taps. The apartment lacks enough power points and the ones that are there are in difficult spots. The only one in the second bedroom is at the head of the bed, so to use it the bed has to be pulled away from the wall. the Bedside lamp was plugged in there and the on/off switch was difficult to reach from the other bed. overall it was a pain to charge things or to read in bed - seems like a small thing, but it detracts from the comfort of an otherwise nicely laid out apartment. Overall the apartment looked clean - until you needed to pull the bed away from the wall to plug something in. The cleaning seemed to stop at the furniture and so quite a bit of dirt has accumulated around the edges of the rooms and under the furniture. A bit more attention needs to be paid to the genera needs of a family on holiday. For example only one tea towel was provided for three people for 5 nights. Although beach towels were provided which was great.

Fantastic location one minute's walk to Four Mile Beach and 5 mins walk to Macrossan St. Lovely pool. Generous balcony overlooking leafy Mowbray Street.

Heated pool was terrific & the location is ideal. Kitchen well equiped.

Could have had a few more basics in the kitchen such as sugar & pepper (salt only).
