Pertiwi Resort & Spa

The location was incredible with shopping and dining on either entrance. Also loved that there were two entrances! Staff were very friendly especially at the quieter entrance. Very quiet despite villas and other accommodation being close to one another.

We had the one bedroom villa with a pool and we were very surprised that the pool was around a 2 metre drop from the outdoor space where the villa was and there was no railing. The villa pool wasn’t overly inviting with dirty loungers and being surrounded by cement from the drop.

We absolutely loved our two bedroom villa with private swimming pool. The rooms are so spacious and clean, the beds are the most comfortable and we truly enjoyed the private pool and the pool patio. The whole resort is beautiful, curated, lush and perfectly located in the heart of Ubud but very private and quite like a hidden oasis. We really loved the main swimming pool too and the food and smoothies at the pool restaurant were delicious. Breakfast was great, always tasty, with lots of choice and we particularly loved the banana pancakes :) Also the view from the breakfast terrace is wonderful! Every member of the staff is very helpful and kind and the attention to details is outstanding. We highly recommend using the spa services as well! The massages were wonderful and very competitive price with spas outside the resort. We had the best time and we will certainly go back!

Our room was conveniently located near the entrance, with shops, restaurants, and nightlife all within easy walking distance.

The rooms are old and needs some attention.

* Lovely quiet location, but close to everything in Ubud * Stunning gardens * Good swimming pool (and no monkeys despite our fears!) with excellent restaurant services next to it * Lovely staff who responded instantly to any request * There are lots of great restaurants and cafes very close to the resort near either entrance (Bisma or Monkey Forest streets)

* The paths throughout the property are very steep with many (irregular) steps and no rails of any sort. They are challenging even for an able-bodied person (though great exercise!) but if you have a leg injury they are difficult. * We took a more expensive pool villa to avoid monkeys near the main pool which we had read about .. but there werent any! .. and our pool was down another steep set of steps. The pool villa was spacious and lovely, but if you want one, ask for one with a pool on the same level as the rooms. (Incidentally, the cheaper rooms seemed very nice) * We had a visit each night from an animal (didnt see what, may have just been a squirrel) but it left a bit of mess .. seeds .. and poo .. and the staff sometimes only brushed it light,y instead of removing the yukky stuff properly

Nothing is clean everything is dirty they didn't clean the room and the pool and around and even the bedsheets smells not good everything is not clean and looks old
