Hampton Inn & Suites Burlington

Our experience was good at this hotel. It's a pretty standard Hampton Inn and perfect for what we needed. I would suggest bringing earplugs if you are at all sensitive to sound. There was literally no noiseproofing between the hallway and our room. In addition, because there was a gap between the bottom of the door and the ground, the light in the hallway came into the room. So if you need to sleep in total darkness, that won't be possible unless you find something to block the light.

Got the worst room assigned-right above the hotel entrance automatic door. The hotel automatic door opened and closed all night long whenever guest enters the hotel and sounded loudly which kept me awake all night long. Terrible experience ever!

Clean comfortable quiet staff excellent

The pool was amazing as well as the whirlpool! The area has so many shops and food places that were so accessible!!! Clean and the breakfast was wonderful!!!!

We stayed in the Oversized King Studio Suite and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel building itself was impeccably clean and had a pleasant, welcoming scent throughout. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated. Our suite was modern, extremely clean, and spacious. The bed was firm, which I prefer, though the pillows were a bit flat—pretty typical for most hotels.

The biggest drawback—and it’s important to note this was not the staff’s fault—was the noise from the guests directly above us. They had children who were running and stomping loudly, which disrupted the peace we were hoping for during our out-of-state trip without kids. We reached out to the front desk, who promptly spoke with the noisy guests. Although the noise continued for a while, the staff were transparent about their limitations before 10 pm, after which the noisy guests would be held responsible for our stay if they didn’t quiet down. Eventually, my husband banged on the ceiling to ask for quiet, and thankfully, it settled down completely for the rest of the night. I truly believe the staff did everything they could, and we were grateful for their efforts. Just be aware that if you have guests with active children above you, you may hear a lot of noise. These kids were definitely running full speed, which was quite noticeable.

The location was easy on/off Rt 5 and close to some shops and Starbucks which opened at 4:30 am which we ended up needing! We didn’t use the pool hot tub but many families seemed to be enjoying it. Our King plus sofa room was very big. We had 3 people and the sofa bed was comfy!

Non smoking room was very Smokey and musty
