Hampton Inn Owego

Nice big clean room

I wanted the room to be a bit colder but couldn't set the AC any lower than 65.

Pretty standard Hampton Inn. Friendly desk clerk was welcoming and gave us a run down of amenities, breakfast hours, etc which is hardly a given at these chain hotels. Room was fine; clean enough but detail lacking (dirty corners in bathroom, moldy grout, etc). Hall carpet had a loud design, but failed to hide all the stains and dirt. Two shower towels; one was thinner than the walls. Maybe request a third floor room to hopefully avoid footstep noise from above? Partner was woken a couple times by conversation (& maybe sex) from the next room. Breakfast was typical for these places...just barely adequate, but free is free and it saves having to find a place. Weirdly there are no luggage racks in rooms. Tiny too-soft pillows but firm mattresss, which we like. We wanted to use the pool which i did briefly before children decided to run races. Not the hotel's fault. We thought we'd swim the next morning, but it was closes for maintenance. Best feature is large panaranic windows of the river from rooms on that side (I think there's a small supplement charge) and low prices. We'd stay here again.

Helpful and friendly staff at check in. Good bathroom, bedroom. Good breakfast selection of ok quality. Major drawback was locating the entrance and parking upon arrival after dark. No signs were illuminated on the hotel indicating it was a Hampton inn. Had to navigate through a crazy shared parking lot that has poorly marked curbs and other hazards in the middle.

The TV was so complicated and the remote did not work well. The pillows were feather and I am allergic to those they should always be an option on the bed with non hypoallergenic

Very pleasant staff at check in. Clean, comfortable room. Definitely would stay again.

The room was clean and very relaxing! We slept very well.

Extra clean and comfy , staff was GREAT! Breakfast was perfect!

This hotel gives the chain a bad name. Bed was uncomfortable and made noise everytime I moved. And a light building was aim right at my windows. Second time I have had bed experiences here. Will not return.
