Artis Centrum Hotels

It is over and was for 1 night only. Bathroom was ok.

1. I explicitly chose and paid for twin room with separate beds through Booking. Despite this, I got a message from the property that it is "subject to availability" as if it was some sort of special request. I tried writing back several times to make sure that I will get the type of room I booked and paid for, but only got "subject to availability" as a response. 2. The room indeed was with separate beds, but they were put together next to one and we had to move them around the room ourselves alongside the auxiliary nightstands. 3. Half the room was practically missing as it was some kind of an under the roof attic with sloping/slanted ceiling through the whole room. Instead of normal windows there were roof windows/skylights. 4. To get to the room, one needs to take two elevators (from reception to 4th floor then from 4th to 6th) with half a kilometer labyrinth of hallways connecting them. 5. Room itself and the whole hotel was some sort of post soviet shabby abandoned dormitory. Stained old carpet, worn-out furniture etc. 6. At the reception we were asked for a credit card as some sort of deposit for the mini-bar - a first for me after visiting dozens of hotels in many countries. Perhaps I am missing something, but it is not my stay at this place.
