Vrooman Mansion B&B

This is a beautiful old mansion in a residential neighborhood well cared for and full of history. The owners and staff were great and the breakfast was very excellent. It is an old house so be ready for creaks, but that is part of the charm. Actually was very nice not to have a TV around. Internet is available though. Be ready to step back in time, but it's well worth it if you like that kind of thing! Would definitely recommend!

We love the historical ambiance down to the detail in every nook and crannie. We sat on the porch in the evening and met interesting people. Vrooman staff are caring and professional.

Beautiful historic property. Staff were phenomenal as was the breakfast. Bed was super comfy and loved the cushy robes provided. Definitely would stay again.

The Vroom Mansion is a beautiful, stately home in Bloomington, IL. We were so very happy that we had the opportunity to spend the night there. The service, comfort and food were excellent, though I did have a problem with the “stuffiness,” old house smell that permeated the building.

It was amazing! Staff was friendly and able to tell about the rich history of the property. The bed was comfortable. Room temperature was perfect. The bathroom sink was hand made along with a lot of the woodwork throughout the property. When staying in the cottage you are able to park in the driveway off the street! They asked about food allergies and anything else we may have needed to enhance our stay! I highly recommend staying here.
