Um pouco longe de Salerno, mas compensado com o serviço de shuttel

The room was clean, the mattress was fantastic. We had very good sleep in this hotel. Breakfast was okay.

We booked this accommodation only because of the transfer. In the end the ride one way was 30 min and the transfer goes so rarely that it is not very much aligned with the ferries and trains. Sometimes the transfer is fully booked (because there is only 20 seats while the capacity of the hotel is much more) so we had to wait for the later transfer. Each time we arrived in Salerno from day trips we had to kill time somehow until the next transfer arrived. One time we had to take a public bus which was very very slow compared to the transfer. After a full day of exploring on foot and in heat all you want to do is to get to your hotel and rest and this wasn't the case. Looking back I wouldn't book this hotel. As everyone says in the reviews, there is not much to do around the hotel so make sure you book your table in the restaurant because it can also get fully booked and then you have to eat your dinner in the room.

The atmosphere generally was great; very clean with good facilities, good food and reasonable prices. The staffs were very helpful and friendly Distance to the coast was a bit far. .Otherwise, value for money

Hotel Olimpico was a wonderful stay. The amenities were outstanding and can save you a lot of money if you plan wisely. We flew into Naples and took the train to Salerno, where the hotel’s complimentary shuttle picked us up—an incredibly convenient and stress‑free start to the trip. Our room was immaculate, and the staff graciously accommodated our request for early check‑in. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options including yogurt, meats, pancakes, eggs, and traditional breakfast staples. We made great use of the shuttle service throughout our stay, especially when venturing out to the Amalfi Coast. The shuttle took us to the seaport, where we easily booked day trips to Capri, Positano, and Amalfi. We didn’t need a tour guide, as we downloaded maps and audio guides for each town, which worked perfectly. For dinner, the hotel offers a delicious on‑site menu, and we also enjoyed going into town using the shuttle, which conveniently drops you off at either the train station or the seaport. Everything in Salerno is within walking distance. The pool was beautiful, though we didn’t get to use it due to cooler weather. Hotel Olimpico is truly a hidden gem, and we highly recommend it to everyone.
