Paradise Resort

The staff were very helpful. The property was well kept. We had a wonderful vacation at a reasonable price compared to other nearby options.

Although this property is older, it was well maintained and the units/rooms were updated since my last stay there 10 years ago. Staff was very friendly. Check in was smooth. My grandkids enjoyed every bit of the lazy river tubing, the 4 outdoor pools, and the easily accessible beach. The fully equipped kitchen was also a plus!! We hit up the local Walmart and saved some $$ by not eating out much. Rates were fantastic also. Definitely would stay there again!!

This place is outdated, rundown, and charges prices that in no way match its poor quality! Our first thought, upon arrival, was that the garage smelled like an alley. And the lobby is quite small and unappealing. So, don't expect something grand and spacious like you see at the Hyatt or Marriott! Also, the building is made up of condos, with each one decorated differently. Some are basic/plain while others are decorated with cheap fixtures and furnishings. (I know this b/c we traveled with a softball team, and the families were all comparing notes) In previous Myrtle Beach visits, my family and I stayed at North Beach Resort and Island Vista. BOTH of which I would recommend over this one, hands down!! North Beach Resort is actually our favorite! This one doesn't come close. Some of the issues we encountered include tape all over the walls in the elevator areas, a worn down door (that wouldn't close all the way without force = safety concern), scraped up walls with paint chipping, stained curtains and sheets, an old/ripped shower curtain, and dirty/dingy rugs with sand, hair, and food crumbs! Oh, and did I mention they charge $25 a night for housekeeping that only drops off towels!?!?! They don't tidy up the room or make the beds unless you ask! And even then, it'll only be once during your stay. We stayed a whole week and had to call multiple times for them to finally send someone. Do yourself a favor, and do NOT stay here!!!

Old school hotel in Myrtle beach. I was here for business. If, like me, you need to be in North Myrtle Beach, it’s not a good location. Traffic is bad in the area and it’s 21 miles and an hour to get to the north. Parking at Paradise is awkward, get there early or you will be parking across the street. Check in was uninspiring. The big guy was generic like I was checking into a truck stop. The good news is that everyone I met after was friendly and engaging. Housekeeping might have been the nicest people I ever met and the lady at checkout was sweet and friendly. The room was a great location with a great view. The hotel is in the beach and have plenty of activities, which I couldn’t participate, due to the business nature of my trip. Due to location, I’m not sure I’d stay again

Miss Jay has the best customer service I have ever experienced. She knows how to make sure you enjoy your experience at Paradise. Her love is genuine.

Parking is terrible, we were never able to get in touch with the front seat when calling. We had to go down in person to reach the front desk.

I enjoyed the pool and bar area. The property and rooms were clean. Some wear and tear was noticed but overall a great place to stay.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was always available and helpful whenever we needed anything. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because the sleeper sofa was ripped, old, and extremely uncomfortable. Everything else was great!
