Coral Gardens on Grace Bay

When we arrived at Coral Gardens around 1pm, the room wasn’t ready but they kept the luggage for us so we could go down to the beach. As we got to the beach, the attendant asked if we were staying there and we said we were waiting for the room. He didn’t seem to believe but still walked us to the chairs. When we got to the chairs, he again asked us “are you sure you’re staying here?”. We got a little offended. We rented 2 snorkeling sets for $20 a set. Gave him $100 bill and he gave me back $50. I was like “hmmmm…” and he said he would be back for another $10. When we left the beach at 4:30pm to get the room, he never came back. Well..$10, mo biggies. We got our room on 2nd floor, a one bedroom suite with ocean view #4201. It’s one of the last few rooms on the far West side of the property, adjacent to the public beach access. The room was well equipped and the view was beautiful. But since it’s next to public beach access, we had one unpleasant day that there was a group of about 100 local people at the beach that day and they blasted music so loud that we couldn’t hear the wave sounds or be able to read a book. And because it’s not a private beach at Coral Gardens, we noticed visitors not from the hotel came here to snorkel too and since they couldn’t get the chairs, they sat on sand in front of our chairs. Btw, this hotel needs to issue wristbands to guests! Great snorkeling here. A little choppy in the afternoon.

This was the perfect property for my family which consists of myself, husband and two daughters (ages 12 and 9.) Our flight was slightly delayed, but Scott was there to greet us and provide the details we needed. We rented a car (which is a must,) and picked up groceries after we got our luggage in the room. Of course we weren't in the mood to cook anything after traveling, so having the Somewhere restaurant on the property was right on time. We loved being able to walk out to the beach and snorkel right where we were staying. We never had an issue getting chairs and umbrellas as Jerome and Moses really looked out for the guests. We stayed in 2302 and loved everything about it!

The condo was clean and had a nice of the the Beautiful beach. The balcony opens up wide was added a nice touch. Everything was great. The only issue was we got locked out of our room once as the code stopped working but the lady at the front desk was able to assist with that right away.

Our second stay at Coral Gardens. Once again it was marvellous. Staff was top notch with Besma and Scott at the front desk and Jerome at the beach. Best location on the island! We'll be back!!

Great location and beachfront condo. Love love love everything about the property however the restaurants near by were horrible. Be prepare to cook !!

This was a wonderful place to stay - the 2/2.5 unit was plenty spacious for 4 people. The pool was nice with beach and chair access right as you get on the sand. The proximity to the Somewhere restaurant also made a huge difference for grabbing a quick lunch. Very friendly customer service and always willing to help you call a taxi. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting TCI.

Everything was perfect.

Everything about the Coral Gardens Resort was great. From the location (right on the beach) to the apartment (a two-bedroom beach walkout) was just incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcomed. The apartment was great, perfectly sized for my family of four (parents, plus 17 and 12 yr old.) The common areas, kitchen, dining, and living space were great. The bedrooms were large and spacious. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and excellent air conditioners. The bathrooms well stocks with plenty of soft towels. From the apartment, we could walk out to a little patio, with a path leading to the pool and then on to the beach. The access to the beach is perfect, the resort has attendants that prepare umbrellas and chairs for you. They can also arrange for activities that you might be interested in (parasailing, jet skis, banana boat ride, etc). The attendants are also on the lookout for any snorkelers wandering into the protected reef right in front of the resort. Literally, right in front of the hotel, you have a reef system that is TEAMING with wildlife. Fish of every color of the rainbow, turtles, eels, lobster, all live in this reef. Plan on spending lots of time exploring the reef. As for needing a car. The resort is in a "hotel" area, the supermarket is close, but not really walkable. If you only plan on going once or twice, then a cab is better, skip the car rental. I fully recommend the Coral Gardens on Grace Bay resort.
