Coral Gardens on Grace Bay

My Mom and I had a fabulous stay at Coral Gardens! I love snorkeling so I chose a hotel with off-the-beach snorkeling and it did not disappoint! Lots of fish and corals, turtles, eagle rays and barracuda. Hotel is very private and quiet, the beach is gorgeous with crystal clear turquoise waters and white powdery sand. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful, especially Gerome in the beach area. The room (we were in a suite with partial ocean view) was very spacious, clean, with a kitchen and nice patio where I had my coffee every morning. Overall a very enjoyable stay. One minor negative aspect was Somewhere Cafe, which is the most convenient restaurant option on the premises - we went there a few times for breakfast and once for dinner, and the service was awful and very slow (although the food was decent).

They have definitely recovered from the hurricanes of 2017.

We had a wonderful trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. Before the trip, Rahul Lakhani called to confirm our trip and helped to book a car for us. The location is fantastic for swimming and snorkeling. It's also close to grocery store with a short car ride. Somewhere restaurant is so good as well.

This is our 5th trip to Turks and Caicos. 2nd time at Coral Gardens. We'll be back. Two days of high winds from the north made snorkeling conditions impossible for 2 days and poor for a couple of more. Even closed the Somewhere restaurant for 2 days as high tides washed up over the bank. Still a great trip and a wonderful place to stay.

We were impressed with the one bedroom ocean view suite at Coral Gardens... clean and roomy with decent kitchen. The site is right in front of Bight’s Reef and easy access for novice snorkelers - our main reason for choosing this location. The reef did not disappoint... we spotted loads of reef fish, small barracudas, sting rays, large spotted eagle rays (one up close :), and the grand-daddy barracuda! Other snorkelers reported large sea turtles.

Had a wonderful time - clean room, super staff and an amazing view. Bight reef being just steps away was a huge plus for us. First trip to TCI but will not be the last and would for sure stay here again.

Overall we had a pretty good experience. We would’ve rated our experience the highest, had it not been for two important issues for us, sleeping and bathing. The mattress was probably outdated and uneven, very uncomfortable to sleep on. The shower was a big problem in that the water pressure was very low all the time and there was almost never hot water available, most likely due to a defect in the shower lever. Again, we believe this hotel is great primarily due to its proximity to the reef and the incredible staff!

My family of four had a fantastic time at this facility . The staff were very friendly and helpful and were responsive in a timely manner for any of my requests. Don't expect an all inclusive stay because this is not a facility of that nature, but the activities are available a phone call away or just walk out to the beach 40 yards away and any of the staff will call someone for you. There is a restaurant on the premises and the food is good but pricey. This restaurant and bar is not affiliated to the hotel but room service can be had if you link your room at the front desk. All in all would definitely visit here again no negatives to report.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Room is cleaned everyday and provided clean towels and beach towels. Cooking facilities were good with utensils and table ware. Invidual Rooms were bit smaller where our other family members stayed.

Good location for snorkeling with reef right in front of condo. Good beach in front. Unit within 5 miles of good restaurants but you do need a car. Only problem is that units are next to public park which was noisy in the evening, sometimes well into the evening with locals having a beach party. Condo personnel were wonderful.
