Hotel Campanile Nantes Ouest - Saint Herblain

Have stayed here many times, not just because it is a good location before heading south but because of the warm welcome from the staff-thank you Corinne and Isabelle in particular. The bed is very comfortable. There is a good choice of food at dinner and breakfast. One slight downside is that the room needs refreshing. The bathroom door had had a hole punched in to it. Also, the carpet needs to be changed.

Stayed one night, room , bed linen, shower all clean. Restaurant functional, adequate menu for a stopover. Coded parking. Reasonably priced menu, which they have in English also. Close to the ring road so easy to find.

Rooms are very efficient and practical and on the whole very clean. They are real value for money and this particular hotel is situated very close to the Atlantique shopping centre. On the negative side, rooms No1 and 34 have an electricity power station situated a few metres from them and made for a very noisy night, resulting in a very poor sleep. On our second stay, the room though clean, smelt very damp and musky throughout, as if the floor had been wiped with a smelly cloth. On the whole convenient and value for money.

Perfect for an overnight stay. Very good for shops etc.

We couldn't really fault our stay in Nantes Campanile. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and efficient, particularly the waitress in the restaurant. The meal we had was very good value. Happy to stay here again.

We’ve stayed here before. Loved the restaurant buffet and handy location just off the autoroute.

Stayed here for one night on our way back up through France going back to the UK. The accommodation was very basic and arranged a little like council flats. However the internal condition and amenities were all pretty good. I also liked the secure parking. The jewel of this particular crown though was the on-site restaurant which for a small operation was really good and the staff were exceptional.

Extremely good value for money. Overnight stop from Spain to St Malo
