Hotel a lovely surprise in a small town. Very modern and comfortable. Good food and lively bar with plenty of locals drinking there - which is always a good sign. Very convenient parking.

We've had better bacon in Scotland but that's just our personal preference.

"Over priced"

Breakfast was outstanding, staff were lovely.

When I'm back in the November the price will be about £100 p/n. last night for a bog standard extremely basic double room for one, £260 Been in this hotel a minimum of 4 times per year for the last 7 years and just can't get my head round the summer time greed. To add to the joy, the room was roasting, so window open as far as I could. Building behind must have had renovation work going on, so listened to hammering till about 23:00hrs and after that the gentle sound of wood being sawed.
