1. The water coming out of the tap was green 2. There was mold coming out of the aircon and the surrounding walls 3. The hotel promised washing machine and dryer included with the room which is non-existant

If you love golf, this is a good base. Green fees are discounted for in house guests. And it is close to the airport. Just note: there is no Spa. The spa apparently closed many years ago. Other than that is was very very quiet, good for reading at the pool and playing golf or going to the driving range. Only 1 restaurant. Breakfast was included and very good. Shops and the beach is about a 10-20min taxi away.

The golf course is nice and flat. It’s very quiet however there’s like a wet mold smell because the hotel is old and the bed is on the harder mattress and the pool water was murky. It is definitely away from dining options so you need to order food through grab or go into town. If you are looking for a fun course that is quiet this place is great. The hotel staff were wonderful and very helpful they were the highlight of the stay.

Went to Mission Hills GC and played golf today. Great course. Holes that go out to the ocean are special, but not as special as the lunch in the Golf clubhouse. Amazing Thai food. The service by all the girls in red was exceptional. The two girls in the photo went above and beyond. 5 star. Just go for lunch !!

We were living in Phuket for a few months and played golf twice a week, we took advantage of the Stay and Play special offer at Missionhills Golf Resort during February & March 2024. We stayed there a few times on a Sunday night and played golf on the Monday morning. All the staff working there are very friendly and extremely helpful especially Jenny on reception and Goong and Bill and all the staff in the restaurant. Bowey in the Pro Shop is a little gem. We enjoyed playing golf at Missionhills, the course is very scenic. The caddies were very good especially Anny & Kee. I wouldn’t recommend staying at the resort unless you plan on playing golf as it’s quite remote with nothing much to do in the surrounding area. When you drive into Missionhills for the first time it looks pretty impressive, the hotel, clubhouse and grounds look very palacial, however sadly when you look a bit closer the hotel is actually quite run down and needs a lot of money spent on it to get it back to its former glory which I am sure in it’s day, it would have been very beautiful. There are a lot of birds roosting in the roof spaces of the hotel and clubhouse which is evident with the bird droppings on the staircases etc which is extremely unhygienic. There is also a terrible smell of sewage at the back of the hotel which you can smell in the restaurant and by the pool. The pool is very big and looks beautiful but sadly a lot of tiles are missing and chipped which is very unappealing. The corridors leading to the bedrooms are very dark and the carpet looks dirty and worn. The rooms are large but quite dated and the bed was as hard as a brick and extremely uncomfortable so I suggest you ask for a mattress topper. The food menu at the clubhouse is a limited menu but the dishes we had were very nice and the breakfasts limited but adequate. When we left on our final overnight stay we were charged 100 bhats as we accidentally broke a glass in the room, this left a bit of a disappointing end to our time at Missionhills given the amount of money we had spent there over the past few months.

Excellent service and outstanding staff. We just spent 4 days and 3 night at Mission Hill Golf Resort at Phuket, played 2 round of golf with very helpful caddy. Price is right and we did enjoy a quiet, relax and playful golf trip! Suggest to visit between November to April as Thai weather can be very HOT, especially for North America people.

Disappointed about the conditions of this golf course. The facility is outdated and the greens are all flat. It’s a good course for beginners as it feels like a green field where they have put some flags and a lot of bunkers to make it look like a golf course. Some will like it. Caddies are friendly but not skilled. No drink can buy on the green and if you need to buy balls you will pay a premium.
