Mission Hills Phuket Golf Resort

we stayed just one night; great hotel; good service; close to the airport; we did't play golf

Caddy not skillful & not speaking English properly. Hotel staff were helpful. Peaceful environment there but missing other facilities.

We were not impressed with this hotel. They charged for everything and added 17% even on ice. The room had an unpainted ceiling and some of the lamps didn't work. Ants were bad. There was lots of bird poop all around the pool, and the mosquitos were bad at the only dining hall.

Hotel has to make some serious investments to be able to live up to the promises it makes in the marketing. Building and rooms were nice and views great, but everything else seemed to fall a part. Surroundings were not taken care of (overall maintenance), pool was very dirty and the water was not changed at all. The food was ok, but unfortunately the service did not work - main course came before the starters (if the starters came at all). Even there were only 5 people having dinner, we had to wait over half an hour. Waitresses did not speak english enough to understand basic orders and the prices were still kept at the same level when the hotel was opened about 8 years ago, although the level has gone down significantly. I hope that the golf course will get better with the new grass and that someone invests in the renovation of the building and the surroundings, as if not, the place will die out in two years.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel and golf course is amazing, it felt like being on a second honeymoon. The Spa treatment was fantastic. We did hire a scooter, it was almost brand new - great machine :-), much better condition than what we have been offered in other hotels in Thailand. On departure, the hotel organized taxi and ferry tickets for the next leg of our journey, very kind! (after we told them where we need to get) Would definitely come back!

If you're travelling to Phuket a stay in the Mission Hills is a MUST. The food was first class and the bar served excellent cocktails. The entire experience was pure luxury.

I found the staff to be very efficient and friendly, but I did have some problems with the hotel. First, the location was not good for me. It was too far away from everything. I am not a golfer and didn't care about the golf course, which was beautiful. I was disappointed in the old TV and the fact that the air conditioner on my second night never did work very well. There also wasn't much to do after dark. On the one night that we wanted to go to the beach for dinner, no shuttle was available and a taxi driver who was called was drunk. This made for a very dangerous and disappointing evening. Thankfully, half of our taxi fare was refunded by the front desk. Overall, no...I wouldn't stay again. I'll stay in Patong.

We spent one night a this hotel waiting for our next flight to Phuket. Everything in this hotel was great, staff, food, room. We regret to spend only one night in this place.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und sehr sauber. Allerdings liegt es sehr abgeschieden. Es gibt keine Möglichkeiten außerhalb essen zu gehen oder sonst fortzugehen.

This is a very nice resort inland in Phuket - that means not on the beach, but instead on a golf course. It is very close to the airport which is why we chose it since we had a one night layover after getting off the Star Clipper. Excellent Thai food in the restaurant. The golf course looked beautiful, but we did not have time to play They were offering two for one deals in the spa, and we took advantage of that. The spa is lovely, nice private rooms, excellent massueuses, If you are looking for a quiet tropical vacation, like to golf, and don't want the hustle and bustle of the beach this is a good well priced choice in Phuket.
