Hilton Grand Vacations Club Kohala Suites Waikoloa

We had a wonderful week at the Hilton Kohala Suites. Our unit was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and courteous and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. We cooked 2 night in our unit and had everything we needed to cook our meal. We spent a lot of time on our Lanai which had the most beautiful sunsets over the golf course view. We even saw 5 Nene birds outside our door one morning and several mongooses running around. The grounds are spotless and beautifully landscaped. We drove to the nearby beach and spent several days there but we also spent a day at the pool which also was very nice. Check in was easy, the beds were comfortable, parking was free and easy to get a spot close to our unit. I literally have no complaints about this place and we had a wonderful, relaxing week. I would highly recommend to my family and friends and hope to return someday.

At least this time I didn't I t have to chase down my stuff from the maids trunk! They didn't enter my room too early on check out day, this time. My advice , always keep your DO NOT Disturb sign on your door! Until your mid stay clean.

Great location, has all the amenities of the Hilton Waikoloa Resort but feels like an escape from the crowds at the hotel. Spacious rooms, great views all around and convenient location to shopping and dining.

We enjoyed our stay at Kohala Suites. There was plenty of room for our party of four plus two grandbabies, and the layout of the unit is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to our next trip back to the Big Island and Kohala Suites.

Vacation Package travellers beware: The Hilton will put you up in their oldest room: Smells, not clean, bugs flying out of drains, not cleaned daily; all so that they can entice you to purchase a time-share. They also charge the vacation package traveller a lot more for all events/excursions and the cost for parking is exorbitent so it makes renting a car impractical, however you need a car at this location in order to access anything else on the Island. Food at this location is also difficutl to come by unless of course you can afford $55.00 US per person for a breakfast buffet (as an example). I would not recommend the Hilton.

The suite was roomy and very tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities of home. I loved the view from the balcony. I also loved the washer and dryer and the ice maker!

The first two nights, I had to call the desk because of loud partygoers below me. I waited until 12:30-1:00 a.m., and the noise continued. However, after security came over, they stopped, and it was quiet.

These are very nice units and you have easy access to the pool area. There is a free shuttle that runs around Waikoloa area. The entire Waikoloa area is very well maintained and you have access to the Hilton hotel and its expanded large pools and features.

Great for families. easy back and forth to the po where the kids had a ball.
