Everything about my four-day stay went perfectly. The hotel's free shuttle picked us (about 7 guests) from the ELP airport. Check- in was smooth, thanks Ray Sanchez. My room was just being fitted with a new air conditioner when I arrived, and everything was clean. The location was perfect for the 3-minute walk to the University. One evening the shuttle took 10 of our conference participants to dinner at Hoppy Monk - and picked us up again when we were done hours later. Different driver, same great service. The ride back to the airport at the end of the visit was just as convenient. The street car (this is free) stops right next to the hotel. I rode that back to the hotel after crossing the Sante Fe International Bridge from a day trip to Juarez. This was my first visit to El Paso - and Juarez. I am glad I stayed here. I highly recommend it.

"OK but wouldn’t stay here again"

I looked up hotels on TripAdvisor from the airport and it said 1.01 miles away which was incorrect the hotel is approximately 8 miles away. The bartender was very courteous but definitely needed some help. He had to wait on all the tables as well as the bar area and run the food to the tables. I ordered chicken wings which were battered and fried to death. My husband got the burger which he said was very good. The hotel was clean however the bathroom towels, hand towels, and washcloths were worn out and needed replacing. There was dirt and bugs in the bathroom lights. The gentleman that shuttled us to the airport was very nice and helpful.
