La Quinta by Wyndham Shawnee

Close to interstate 40.

The walls were so thin that we could hear the people in the next room's conversation at 3 o'clock in the morning. When entering area of the property, it was very dimly lit and hard to find the road into hotel.

Location was great.

Room was clean and in great working order. Staff was polite and helpful.

Breakfast was ok. That's about all I have to say

Where do I start. First off I used booking.com to reserve a deluxe king suite for my wife and I literally 3 weeks in advance. We get there on the day of check in and they say they dont have my reservation. That I canceled it or booking.com did. After 30 minutes on the phone with booking.com they confirm that we were good to go. But still to no avail. We did not get the room we requested becuase it was not available. I think they gave our room away and was giving us some crap story. Well long story short we had to have a room and I ended up paying the same price I did for a double regular room as I did for the suite I reserved. Talk about foul....I will never stay at a wyndham again. Ridiculous

Breakfast was good, food hot, and area was well started and very clean.

Room was on the 2nd floor and the elevator made an awful jolt and sound that was very distressing. Reported to desk and they explained the problem and that it was scheduled for repairs.

Cleanliness was very good. It was well kept up. The man working in the breakfast area kept food supply stocked and he kept the dining area exceptionally clean. Very friendly staff.

The A/C in my room was old and didn’t keep the humidity out of the room. It was difficult to adjust. Several flies were in the hotel (eating area and my room).

I would love to have a hand held shower sprayer and some pressure
