Wyndham Garden Salina Conference Center

We didn’t wake up early enough for breakfast but our room was very clean and I really inspect rooms when I stay in one as I used to deep clean houses.. I always look at every detail. I couldn’t really find anything to complain about. Bathroom was spotless, grout was clean in shower and around toilet base, knobs were polished and the linens were comfortable and the room smelled good upon entering! It isn’t fancy by any means but it’s more importantly comfortable AND clean at an affordable price. The manager on duty that checked us in was friendly and helpful. Sits just off the highway for easy access and is close enough to places to eat you don’t have to go far. The restaurant inside is a nice bonus! I was traveling alone with my daughter and felt safe here as well. They also have an area in the indoor courtyard where there’s a ping pong table and pool table. We didn’t get to play but it looked fun!🤩

The only thing lacking was an elevator and AC unit not going lower than 68. Elevator didn’t bother me as we are young and on the main floor but there was an elderly lady that had trouble getting up the stairs. The AC unit wasn’t a huge deal but would only go down to 68 and I like to freeze to death when I sleep 😅 I put it on fan mode instead and slept comfortably! If I’m being picky that’s all I can say!

I WAS CHARGED 104.00 OVER WHAT THE RATE WAS, I WILL NOT USE BOOKING.COM EVER AGAIN, THEY OWE ME 100 DOLLARS I ASKED FOR A KING SIZE BED DID NOT GET THAT AND STILL PAID OVER 104. DOLLARS OVER THE AMOUNT I SHOULD HAVE PAID PLEASE RETURN MY MONEY

Room was decent. Staff were helpful and kind.

Pool and hot tub were kinda gross. Pulled clumps of hair out while swimming with my kids.

It was clean but used too strong a cleaner which bothered me, Overall was ok.

Enjoyed our stay. A nice budget-friendly hotel, but don’t expect any frills. Very pleasant staff. Sink was clogged when we arrived and the staff got right on it and fixed the issue immediately. Sports bar and grill is conveniently attached. Also, some nice upgrades are in the works. Definitely would stay there again.

One detracting factor was that there was not an elevator and I was on the second floor. I am a disabled veteran so this was obviously a challenge. The staff did look to see if there was a ground floor room available for my four nights, but there was not. I made it work but I didn’t see that mentioned on the website.
