Red Roof Inn Spartanburg - I-26

It was a roof over our head that's about it.

No elevator. No soap in the rooms. The toilet rocked when you sat on it, not attached well at all. Saw bugs on the walls in the hallway. Ice machine was dirty. No vending machines that worked. No alarm clock. Horrible smell (like pot) in the hallways. It showed breakfast provided - nasty cold cereal and no milk. Not enough outlets to plug things in. Just an overall bad experience.

When we arrived the attendant was screaming at a costomer that there was no clean towels in the whole hotel. The bathroom was dirty needing many repairs . Enclosed is a picture of our towels . The next morning the “breakfast included “ consisted of some stail honey buns , cornflakes and juice machine that didn’t work. The whole place had an odor . When we turned on the heat it smelled worse . The most unsatisfactory experience I have ever had .

It was in a good location

The guest were very rude. I had my kids outside of the hotel playing and they were just staring at us like we were doing something wrong. The. They kept walking and standing by my room door.

Everything was great

Bed wasn't comfortable and ice machine was far from room, to get ice.

Paid for a non smoking room and got a room where someone had been smoking.

The property was old and run down. Badly needs renovation.
