Location was perfect and our view out the window was brilliant

Facilities were dated and some things not working. Restaurant was poor (one night they only had smoked salmon!) Breakfast options were poor and ‘Hot’ items were cold and the egg cooking machine didn’t work.

Comfortable bed and decent shower. Breakfast selection fairly good. Nice outdoor seating for a relaxing drink.

The air conditioning wasn’t working. The extractor fans in the toilet and in the bathroom weren’t working. The “Hot food” at breakfast was tepid. There was no black tea but a huge selection of flavoured tea. It is advertised as having a restaurant but in the evenings there is only a bar menu and most items weren’t available. Very disappointing as we stayed there ten years ago and have happy memories of the Crème Brûlée. I reported the air conditioning and extractor fan problems after the first night and they promised to get a mechanic to fix it. The next night it still wasn’t working and our room hadn’t been serviced. We discovered the next day they had given us another room but couldn’t find us to tell us although we were sat outside from 7pm . The new room was an upgrade and the air conditioning was working although the extractor in the bathroom was very poor and the toilet one didn’t work. It could be a lovely hotel but they are obviously struggling .

Nicely specced comfy rooms,good if pricey breakfast

Aircon broken, tv broken, no warm water for showers in the.morning only cold, report issue several times and ignored, only one lady member of staff helpful, same issues with the.tw other rooms my freinds booked

A lovely location opposite a formal park, and excellent breakfast.

Service was sadly missing. When we asked to eat dinner we were told that they could only provide a reduced menu, about 3 items. We waited ages for any attention - as did the few other tables around us. I chose the gaspacho, which turned out to be cold carrot soup with some tomato juice and extras added. To their credit the waiters realised how angry we were and waived the total bill. Great location but missing out on charm and care.

Le personnel très avenant et gentil. L'emplacement incroyable par rapport au parc et le château qui se trouve en face. À proximité des commerces et restaurants. La terrasse devant de l'hôtel offre un cadre très reposant.

La chambre, bien que spacieuse, semblait vétuste. La clim pourrait être aussi plus puissante. Le matériel dans la salle de fitness nécessiterait un peu d'attention aussi
